Default A 1/400 Question/suggestion to Blue Box

Most diecast companies have found, to a degree, their nitch in the 400 scale universe. Is a matter of fact IMHO,SMA's empty spot pretty much is/will not going to be filled by any other company. Many liveries will never see the light of the day.

Would be nice that Blue Box to focus on the 1/400 modern turboprops. Other companies, such as Gemini Jets, Dragon Wings, Aeroclassics and Herpa, had neglected to produce or have no interest at all.

There are many civilian/military turboprops that could be done
  • Embraer 120
  • Dash-8 family [Q100, Q200, Q300 & QQ400]
  • Saab 340 & 2000
  • ATRs 42 & 72
  • Dornier 328
  • Shorts 330-200
  • Shorts 360-300
  • Caribou
  • Boeing-Bell V-22 Osprey
I'm sure there is more that can be produced in this area.

Thanks!!

P/S: Breaking into the market with something absolutely fresh should/would allow you to make a name (yours) in this community.

I wish that someone would begin the production of prop regional aircraft like:

AA Eagle ATR-72
UA Express EMB-120
Horizon Dash-8
etc., etc.

Wonder what the argument of the notorious league would be if BBx would release a total new mould of an airframe not yet represented in this hobby.

My opinion; if those pirates would abandon brand hijacking, develop a 1/400 mould on their own, and do business properly, then I would have no arguement. The quality may still suck, but my other arguements would be defeated.
That being said, I seriously doubt they will change the way they do things, so my opinion will not change either, nor will I contribute any of my hard earned money into their money-grab!

Maybe this place/market is big enough if you make the smart moves. I'm sure the whole community would go crazy with some modern, well done, turboprops in 400 scale.

BBx,m you have a unique opportunity to jump/divert into the modern turboprop endevour, and that absolutely unchallenged.

Q300 is in 1:200 and 1:500 already by JC+Gemini and Herpa respectively, so it would be possible in 1:400. Canadian and NZ collectors would be very happy.

Some of them are fun to read at least. Looks like a completely different 'meta' back then.

Go back to the 1st page on the 1/400 subforum.
Someone even made a troll post making fun of a user spamming polls.

He bent the Matrix in another thread by resurrecting a 2 year old thread that, itself, was a resurrection of a 9 year old thread for the same reason.

I'm gonna set my calendar to 7-27-27 to bring that thread back to life again. With any luck, it'll cause the internet to implode.

its interesting to see how many DACers are still active after a 15 year old post is re posted. In this case only 2 who posted are still here today.
