Default Thank you Blue Box and Net Models!

With my sixth BBx L-1011 in hand and my fourth Netmodels DC-9 sitting on my diorama of San Diego.....I cant help admire these two "Pirate" companies.

Their L-1011 (sitting next to my PSA and TWA el'ten from Gemini) doesnt look that bad at all. It does have a few MINOR flaws, but all-in-all, looks every bit as good as the GJ's. And dang it, look at my 3 Evergreen DC-9's!!! AND my ABX! I am now directly comparing them to my Aeroclassics Evergreen diesel nine. Umm.....no comparison. Lets face facts, the AC '9 sucks balls.

Now for the real test......side-by-side comparison with my USAir DC-9 from SMA. Tails are identical, wing is damn near (sma has far superior wing paint), cockpit windows are't as good as the SMA......but again, not THAT far off and not THAT bad!

So to the group of village idiots (you all know who you are) I ask: Why the fu ck do you continue your relentless bashing of these companies? Some moulds suck (747) some are ok (DC-9) and some are good (L-1011)......Gee, I think every maufacturer in this buisness share the same traits.

In every single BBX/NetModels thread you post whores keep crapping out the same boring replies: "Pass, garbage" or "Money-grabbing pirates" or the funniest, "Lets put these guys out of buisness". WHAT??? Are you morons RETARDED???

The first 10 times you guys responded the said threads, we got your point....now its just fu cking old. Give it a rest already.

Thank you Blue Box and Net Models. If you weren't flooding the market with crap we would have nothing to discuss on these forums.

Thanks Dylan!! In a world of rhetoric and hyporicy it's nice to have a breath of fresh air.

I am totally convinced that the "horrid" Bluebox L-1011 mould is NO WORSE than the Gemini L-1011 mould, and there's no pissing or moaning about how horrid GJ's L-10 is.

I have always been a village idiot. I am a definite post whore, that I could not deny if I had to. Moron and idiot is redundant...I could be a village moron just as easy but not both. I like some of the Blew Cox models but not too many of the Nutz Models. In my opinion one of Nutz best ideas, the NASA 757, was wasted on 1:500 mould.

I buy livery first. If I like the colors, us moron whores are big on the splashy colors the Calder being a huge offender, first and then I buy the airline. Aeroflot is one of those...I do not care who made it I will have it...buys for me. You bet if Blew Cox or Nutz Models made a colorful Aeroflot I'd be the first one to go pimping around my village in search of some cash to buy that model.

Thanks

Goldy

I'm glad you were able to agree with my post before it was deleted! Heck I didn't even get to cuss the guy out, and the post was zapped; maybe they expect only flowery metaphors from me, and when I make a civilized response, it gets deleted!

Never mind the bollocks, I really enjoy my Blue Box CO L1011 (red). Can't say I'm wild about the black version (the reg is a joke and none of the rumors said anything about there being a black ball), but I'm pleased with my purchase.

Question Hey Richie

Per your avatar expressing opposition to LAX expansion or whatsever? Care to explain us why you not for it?

If LAX should re-do to similar ATL's design, Will it solve the congestion problems and much easier access to either side of runway? Just curious.....

Just to help Dylan answer your question, which he already did in that thread...
**Yes!
**Using #2 Pencil

C'mon Norm, read will ya, don't be lazy!!
Anyway, I understand the feeling, sometimes I wish someone else would do the work for me too.

OK Dylan, now I have a question for you too or anyone else that builds model airport:
* I am planning on starting a project myself too...well sometime soon. It's going to be a 1:400. I don't plan on making a model of a real airport. I'll design the terminal myself (most likely will use the GJ airport mats). The question is: How do I make the terminals to scale? I don't want it to be unrealistically too big or too small, scale-wise. Is there like a standard measurement for these structures (1:1), in architectual term?
Thank you in advance!

After all of Dylan's hard work to build such a fine airport layout, it is a pity that he puts just anything on it; BluNutz belong in the waste bin, not on such a nice creation!

Well...you know what the real funny thing is, is watching all this sitting back watching the lambasting of BBX and Net Models and so on and everytime I see a picture of the Aeroclassics "DC-6".

And frankly, without mentioning any names, there is a certain collector on these forums who quite a few of them yet has done more than their share about crying "garbage" and that they demand perfection but conveniently look the other way on this one to the tune of spending a couple hundred dollars on this sorry mould.

You know Klein, you've nailed some nice moulds and you've made some promises to to produce some releases to head off these substandard releases. But when are you going to retool that own thing of yours that you label a DC-6 with misshapen engines, incorrect diehedrals, a way off cockpit and nose. And when are the collectors who continually complain about the other model compnaies who apparently don't listen and who do give a crap about quality are going to take issue about this pathetic mould of yours so that you do something about it?

Ghetto scale Dude! Get a top-down of the airport....get out your ruler and follow:

1-Measure the wingspan of an airplane on the top-down aeriel view, say a 727
2-mark it on your ruler.
3-start measuring the buildings dimensions...for example, the main terminal is 1.3 727 wingspans wide
4-now just convert to 1:400.....measure the 1:400 727 span and do the simple math......hasnt failed me yet!

There's always someone around to divert the subject at hand! Thank-you flying Ace!
However...
The subject is BluNutz, the crap they produce, and their money-grab tactics!

Default Good Job Dylan

Hey,Great Airport.I have working on a cutom myself.I have spent many hours at airliners.net. I find what you said very agreeable that these guys are trying, and only getting better.I also think that the S duct is very important on the L1011,but that will not change until they build a new mould.for the little stuff of shaving here and there its fine, but that is part on the main mould, and adding metal to the mould is not worth it.Finacially.
I am looking forward to my PSA L1011´s een though they may have a little problem in the mould.I try to buy the livery first, but I do have the net models early dc'9,What junk, but they are improving. We´ll see how things work.

Dylan,Lake Powell first part of June....I might only beable to fly in from Phoenix for the weekend.I am currently in Santa Cruz,Bolivia S.A. and coming home tomorrow,so I took some time out now,and wont have as much time then.I still plan on that weekend.I will let you know more later.
