I hope they release 1 Lufthansa 747 or a MD-80 series aircraft. I would only have to buy the 1 Lufthansa and wouldn't get in line for any MD-80 series model. My CC could relax.

And how long have you had your July releases? Someone has a severe case of 'gotta-have-it-yesterday-itis'.

relax man.

After receiving my TWA 763, I got to have more TWAs yesterday. And don't forget about the old twinstripe livery. It may not be the greatest livery ever, but it does bring back memories.

hope they release some of the future releases...
seems that it's starting again:
no delta MD11s for 4 month now...
the martinair MD11 disappeared in the bermuda triangle...
hope they don't do the same with the braniff 707s
they should release at least one in august!
one proposal: let's found a future releases club:
that saves money and you've got something to dream on!!

John,

When you post or reply to a topic, look to the left and you'll see a hyper-link that says Smilies Legend. Click on that link and it will show you the smilies and codes available on this forum. Just type in the code for the smiley you want.

You are not limited to the ones provided by the forum, either. Go to http://www.mysmilies.com and you'll find hundreds of smilies you can use here. Just copy the URL from that site to here. Have fun!

I hope there are no August and September releases , and if there are, I hope they have high cockpits, so I won't feel bad for not buying them! I just got four Gemini's all at once and feel guilty of gluttony!

Yeah, NO MORE BRANIFFS! They don`t do anything for me. Never saw one infact I`m too young to remember them! The only one I`d like to own would be the short lived A320 with the billboard scheme, I kinda like that one. LETS HAVE MORE VARIETY!!!

Default Let's see more of those fantastic GJ 727s!!

Let's see more of my all-time favorite aircraft, the 727-200.

Northwest
Delta
TWA
United (old colors)
Hughes Airwest
Republic ("Herman" scheme)
FedEx

then, bring on the Braniff Ultras!!!!

I wanted my username to be Railfan727, but I screwed up on the registration process and had to start over with a new username.

I would love to see the 727-200 in old Delta, and old TWA colors. I agree that they should take a break from Braniff and British Airways.

Default August Releases

They already posted the August releases, but how about the September releases? I too agree that the homage to Braniff has gotten out of control. No more!

I think GJ should continue using that new 767 mold of theirs and do a Continental 767-200, JAL 767-300, or finally release the AA 767-300.

Sorry, Moosie!

Hopefully you and others are soon going to be awashed in a sea of Braniffs! Just as we were inudated 'Dull Deltas' and 'Average AAs' and 'Ugly Uniteds' so many months ago. Now its Braniff's turn, those multi-hued, beautiful BNs are heading our way and I certainly hope that many others are in the offing!

At least Braniff brought some diversity and color to many airports!

Face it guys.......BRANIFF SELLS!! So, deal with it!

Cool Braniff, Braniff, Braniff, Braniff, Braniff, Braniff, Braniff, Braniff, Braniff!

Enough said! Historically one of the best Airlines in the History of Airlines. Now with the loss of TWA people should appreciate Airlines like Braniff. When Frontier closed doors here in Denver we had to fly Continental or UAL but we have had to live through it. I miss the flights on Frontier and I never had the chance to fly Braniff. Yet I think the history with PANAGRA and the chance that never happened with the Concorde I like that. Just think if it did happen a Braniff Concorde more people would want this airline! That is why I love the history of the FLYING COLORS!

First, please do not call me Moosie. I would appreciate that.

Second, I do argee that Braniff sells. However there is such a thing as over kill and that will eventually lead to many people despising the Braniff models (like some already do). It is nice to have a certain variety instead of just a Gemini Braniff fleet.

Moose,

I certainly did not mean to offend you, if I did, then I apologize.

I too have been screaming for a variety of carriers as well. Particuarly from Africa and Latin America. However coming from a Braniff family, you can certainly understand my partiality for this carrier.I am sure that I don't have to tell you that unlike many carriers which had one or two basic designs over a 10 year period, Braniff was certainly unique, and I dare say even revolutionary when it began it's 'End of the Plain Plane' campaign during the 60s and the subsequent introduction of the multi colored fleet starting with the Pastels (Jellybeans) followed by the Flying Colors, Calders, and finally the Ultras and this only the original Braniff there is still BN Mk II and III.

Though I do not post here as much as I use to, I will continue to campaign fo the mighty.....BI

"IF YOU GOT IT, FLAUNT IT!!!"

No apology needed. Thank you though.

I understand your love of Braniff. Everyone here has a love of one or the other. Unfortunately I have been exposed mostly to military aircraft and do not have a favorite commercial airliner as of yet. I'm sure that will change as I grow on this forum and learn from all of you. I DO love this hobby of ours though.

[QUOTE=Craig H. Hansen] Historically one of the best Airlines in the History of Airlines.

Colorful, but sadly not a "...best airline..." They are the classic example of top down exploitive management ruining a promising airline. Get a copy of, Spash of Colors the best book on Braniff. They are noteworthy for the marketing concepts they introduced but infamous for the total ignorance of how to run on time with quality service.

I personally flew on Braniff many times (only because no other carrier was available at the time needed). I never had a flight arrive on time and, although flying first class, received consistently nasty service.
