Default New mould JC Wings 747-400 Thai

I came across this on eBay; it appears to be a classic Thai Airways 747 using the new JC Wings 747-400 mould. I don't recall seeing this announced yet, but it appears to already be manufactured.

It's good to see more models using this mould, as it vastly superior to the recent Phoenix offerings. Now if only JC Wings would have a more consistent release schedule.

Is this also on the new mould? Was thinking of getting it but the nose gear appears too short/not pointing straight down. Could it just be that one example?
Anyone have any pics of theirs?

No, the model you linked to uses the old cradle mould. The new mould has slot-in wings.

You can see on the box that there is a flaps down version. Sadly I'm informed this is an 'exclusive release for a client in Bangkok' so I'm not sure it'll be seen anywhere else.

JC Wings usage of this new mould has been super frustrating.

Is it me or the cockpit glazing is oversized?

Hope there were better pictures of the model

This delivery scheme is one of the all-time classics - and one of the prettiest. Though the subject doesn't fit any of my collecting themes, I may still want to get this one. It's beautiful!
