Default The Next Generation Panda has landed - triple Tupi

Just opened a package from Aviation Center Berlin.
It contained pure awesomeness as far as I can see.
Panda's latest Tu-134 and NG's Tu-204-300.

No time right now to look at the models or even nitpick (I already expected the f* up reg on the SU and that gears need fixing), just out of box for this picture.
Enjoy!

Very nice, surprised you didn't get the Cubana so you would have both 100/300.

No cheatline, no deal.

Edit: just checked on which -100 I'd probably get. Either KMV or Koryo in the same livery as the -300 I think. But that's it as far as Tu-204 are concerned.
If NG or Panda woukd come up with a decent -154, things would be different for my wallet...

Looking good, my Interflug and Aeroflot Moscow '80 edition are enroute. Got the Koryo a couple of weeks ago. Was sent it instead of Cubana which was my order in the first place. But hey, it's a keeper.

Fantastic models.

Too bad Sibir did not order the 204-300 aswell back in the day.

Another look at the two Pandas

Panda's Tu-134 is currently my favourite mould. I wish they'd improve on their messy gear assembly though.
The CCCP lettering on the wings however is a major f*up that's really bugging me. "Someone" accused Panda of copying, I wish they did as there's plenty of (correct) stuff out there they could have copied from.
Anyways, I love the little Crusty and I can only wish for a Tu-154B/M mould to the same standard. Or a 727 maybe? Panda? NG??

Yeah, I got my three Ty-134s (Interflug and the Aeroflot pair) this week and I'm inordinately pleased with the moulds, having examples of all six releases so far.

With these latest ones I seem to have been a bit luckier than you regarding the landing gear, the main trucks on all of mine are aligned correctly and have correct hubs on all the nose gears. Of course I will likely get out my pot of XF-5 in short order to attack the hubs with!

The C CCP rego blunder however is a bit annoying, but it looks like it could be a bit of a swine to fix with a decal with the fence in the way, so I'll probably live with it. It is a pity they made this mistake as the actual numerical part of the rego is positioned correctly (I may touch up the fence to remove the overprint on that side) and runs through the fence like the CCCP should have. They did it with the numbers, so they should have been able to do it with the letters.

Oh well, please note for future reference, Panda. Other than that, super work and more please!

I'm waiting for them to do Air Ukraine on the TU134. Mould looks good but I don't really have any I want to collect besides the UKR

Didn't the DDR have registrations printed on their wings? Me thinks so!

The model has the correct underwing registration for the Interflug at least as far as I can gather. The gapped Aeroflot registration is unfortunate, but overall these are great models.

Underwing, yes.

Rule of thumb for overwing:
DM- reg: yes on starboard
DDR- reg: no

The Panda model detailing depicts DDR-SCK "as retired" in 1990, so it's correct.

One thing though for the nitpicking: I'd have liked the grey on both a bit darker.

Now if Panda would do a DM-... as delivered (bare instead of grey) and full colors of LSK/LV, this would be awesome!
