Default Aeroclassics - September releases?

Any idea on what could be released this month? For some reason I’m excited for this next set, and usually I don’t get that way with Aeroclassics new releases.

I hope he is also nice enough to consider making more pieces of each model so we don't have to stress about ordering the models within 5 minutes of the releases coming out.

Good stuff coming, it’s been a while since I’ve acquired all the released models, and I think this month might do it.

For me it could be the first time I’ve acquired an Aeroclassics model upon release. Which retailers can I order the new models from immediately following their announcement?

Well it depends what you're after. If you want modern aircraft then yes but there are literally tons of those being made by everyone else. If you want classics then every month has it gems.

I happen to know that it is not all classics this month and the reg hints give the usual interesting spread of nations and regions.

Coming from a person with an obvious agenda!

There are more first time releases and a couple of repeats of extremely popular subjects, so your statement exposes you for a stooge of the bottomfeeders, since all they seem to do is release models already produced; boring!!

Please reply.

I am just seeking your advice on landing gear.

Thank you.

There may be some sense in producing modern day models that have already been released, especially if they have been sold out and some collectors missed out. I missed out on the NG models Delta L-1011 and I would welcome a re-release or someone else such as AeroClassics or Gemini Jets to do one.

What is senseless is making models of airliners that other manufacturers have recently made and are in circulation and easy to find on the secondary market such as eBay.

As for classic airliners, particularly AeroClassics, I would welcome re-releases of models that were made say a decade ago. I missed out on many AeroClassics models such as the LOT IL-18, Varig CV-990, El Al B747-200 and many more. I am sure other collectors would welcome such older models. What is wrong with re-releasing say an Iran Air B707 or El Al B747-200 or PIA B747-200 that sells for hundreds of dollars on eBay?

And if Andrew Klein is not interested in models that were produced a decade or two ago, then he should let others use his moulds in return for royalties or sell those moulds. I would buy the AeroClassics Viscount, Vanguard and Comet moulds immediately.

Agreed. Lot of smaller JC runs are not available anywhere even if they were recent releases.

You can’t expect everything you want to be made by every manufacturer every month. There’s tons of markets out there and manufacturers can only satisfy so many of those in said markets per release. For me AC is usually a pass as I don’t collect retros frequently, but there’s a potential I might buy some releases this month, which I rarely do with AC.

I disagree with the allegation. How can anyone have an agenda against a person as lovely, caring and polite as Andrew Klein?

I have never seen Andrew argue with anyone or exchange hostile emails with anyone. Andrew even respects his rival manufacturers too (just see his signature as evidence).

Andrew, please keep up the good work and please teach all of us as to how we should be polite, courteous and so tolerant like you.

OK, OK - mayhap Messrs. Klein and Warfle are a tad edgy, but when either of them make available a 1/400 die cast airliner that I want, personalities aside, I'm on it. Doug

Will the other retailers, such as ezToys and Flying Mule, post the releases at or around the same time as well?

I think they usually post a bit later on i.e. several hours or a day later

Oh boy, I'm gonna have to be waiting at my computer for a while I suppose, if I want to order from Flying Mule or elsewhere except ARD...

Me too. I have N651FE (which was the 1st A300 delivered to FedEx) to go with it.
My avatar is N651FE. I took the photo at IND less than 2 weeks after delivery. It was there for ramp training.

Wow. That’s so cool. I would love to see a high res version of that image because a FedEx A300 with that livery is really awesome to my eyes. I have that interest of aircraft having older primary liveries on newer-ish (at the time) aircraft, like the Northwest 747-400 with the ex-Orient livery.

I wish it was high res. It was a "grab and go" shot. I just happened to be at the airport and didn't even know it was there until I came up on it. There were only 2 A300's in this scheme..N650FE was the other one. 651 was delivered April 28, 1994, and 650 was delivered on May 24, 1994.

Wow the FedEx A300 is a great and welcomed release! These have woken me up more than once on an early arrival over my house into PIT so definitely have to pick one up.

Nice releases but nothing for me, would like to get fx and ups but I really need to cut down on my collecting criteria.

I did not see the Braathens B762 coming. Was not on the initial Mata Hari report. It is very welcomed and I hope I can get one. There are also other Braathens left to be done. DC-6B, F27 and more B737.
