Could this be the combination of B767-200 and 9M- = the Raya Airways B767-200?

I would imagine that the 737s will have several variants of the same carrier...

A pair of BA Landor 732s would be nice with Birmingham and Manchester titles as speculated on 400SH. Fingers crossed 🤞

Indeed Steve, they look somehow very similar - but that is Otl Aicher.

Together with his team, he developed the proposals for Lufthansa's corporate design in the mid-1960s, which decisively shaped its appearance until the late 1980s.

best regards,
Jan

I didn't know about Otl Aicher's development of the Lufthansa's corporate design. The books and old trade magazines I have on Lufthansa for that period refer to Hans Bongers, Gerhard Holtje, Herbert Culmann, Reinhardt Abraham and Gunter Eser. Thanks for this information Jan.

All 3 have been released by AC, the first two in multiple variations, so I doubt it.

After the various US Airways heritage schemes that came out recently I wonder if there might be a 767-200 in one of their later liveries. Only Gemini ever did those 15 years ago back when they were current liveries.

I don't believe it has been released with the black nose or the grey cheatline.

Nor with the Air France traditional 'grimey' white ....

Any such subtle changes to the mainline AF scheme of the 80's aren't gonna happen while there are many popular schemes still left un-made

Those N 737-200s are all fantastic subjects, and I would love to see them done, especially the two Uniteds and the AirTran. The United 737-200s have been badly needed in 1:400 ever since the scale came on to the scene over 20 years ago. Crazy that they haven't been done yet, IMO.

Great releases but I cringe at ACs 767s equipped with the big off-road tyres.
Why can't they just use their A300 set?

If I remember right, the complaint was that the model had a nose down attitude. I don't think it was a complaint about the size of the tires. Just had to lengthen the NLG or shorten the MLG. I lost all interest in AC's B767-200s after the big wheels came out.

Have to say this month brings impressive releases from AC, a plethora of models collectors have been asking for. The Aeromaritime B767-200 was on my wish list a couple of years ago after I acquired the B743. But I'm getting close to completing the unloading of my 1/400s as I focus on 1/200s.

Speaking of 1/200s, the ATI stretched 8 is a stunner! Gives hope that the -62 in the same livery is in the works? I'll be first in line to grab one (OKO-IWK 5/1995)!

Oh wow, I assumed there was a -62 somewhere in the many releases of short 8s. Seems like a hole that needs to be filled by an expert in DC-8s, eh?

Have to say this month brings impressive releases from AC, a plethora of models collectors have been asking for. The Aeromaritime B767-200 was on my wish list a couple of years ago after I acquired the B743. But I'm getting close to completing the unloading of my 1/400s as I focus on 1/200s.

Speaking of 1/200s, the ATI stretched 8 is a stunner! Gives hope that the -62 in the same livery is in the works? I'll be first in line to grab one (OKO-IWK 5/1995)!

It’s been the easy way to ‘solve’ a problem… does not speak for the manufacturer at all. Although, all in all, their 767-200 isn’t as bad as the L-1011 which is mould-wise still totally off. I once heard they’d never make use of the L-1011 mould again - but obviously they changed their mind… or they just referred to the L-1011-500 which is even more of a eyesore.

Now, a gem like Eastern in bare metal. Let’s see.

Idiots. The American 767, featuring those wheels is a stunning model.

Yes but would it still be stunning once several.of "those" wheels had fallen off and disappeared like a thief in the night into your shagpile carpet ? That is, was and remains the problem with "those" wheels. I now glue them the instant the model comes out of the box.

Oversized wheels seem to be a real problem now. The Aeroclassics A320 nose wheel is now bigger than when it first appeared and Gemini Jets recent Bae 146 and HS748 gears are so big they totally spoil the aesthetic of the model.

Liking the set of BA 737s. That'll be an expensive month.

Thank’s Andrew for 2 B767-200 Aéromaritime & Air France.
AF model is special, because with grey line, was an experimental cs (same on B747-400 F-GTIC).

If that story was true…!

And… if so… I’d ask the manufacturer why he would change a detail “on customers’ request” which would result in an inferior product. Not to mention that particularly AeroClassics does not even listen to constructive collectors’ criticism which would lead to an improvement of their products… so why would they modify a model to the worse? Sorry, I don’t buy that story.

Just like the st*pid id*ots who complain about the cheaper 'slow postage option', well don't use it captain genius. Geeez.
I'm still waiting on my Air Nauru, but the more expensive option is taking longer than the cheaper option I used in my last order!
