Default Panda Models Retailer Exclusives - Full History

Here at Yesterday's Airlines I've always had a keen interest in some of the more obscure releases and I've regularly reported on retailer exclusives.

Panda Models have always had strong retailer partnerships but since 2020 have expanded into Western markets and expanded their range of retailer partners so that they now make as many models for retailers as they do under their own name. It can be hard keeping up so here's a history of their retailer exclusives and what I believe is a full list of the nearly 30 retailer exclusive models they've produced over the past couple of years:

Thanks for sharing!
It's interesting to see how many exclusive models they have released and which retailers are taking part in this.
I'm glad to see El Aviador Models as one of their partners. I see this as an open door for more Latin American narrow bodies from Avianca, Copa, Volaris, LATAM, etc.

Great read! I have the RM Southwest 737-700 N963WN, with N950WN and N17759 also on order from Waffle. Would’ve loved to have gotten California One when Waffle released that but will wait for an NG release; hopefully that isn’t too far out.

Nevertheless, really excited to see what the future holds for their retailer exclusive models and Panda themselves in general.

Wonderful write up! Never seen the Canadian North 737-400 before so this is certainly an interesting read

I agree... great read. Thank you Richard. Looking forward to new releases. I do have the California One. Southwest 737-700 N7855A in the current scheme and 737-700 N724SW in desert gold are ordered from RM Models

Wow, this article is really enlightening Richard, I had no idea that this practice is so prevalent amongst retailers. The Air North B734 is one model I would really like to add to my collection.

Ah, well that explains. Canadian airlines aren't in my scope but Canadian North's livery is too good to pass off, plus it's a classic 737

Didn't even know N724SW was a thing - ordered from Prairie.

Like landing an airliner in zero visibility, you have a knack for making sense from a baffling array of data - thanks. Doug

I only posted about this ten days ago but since then there have been 4 extra retailer exclusives announced plus I've discovered who the Singapore 737-800 was made for.

I've updated the page with new shots of the SQ 738 and AirAsia 733 plus updated the main image and list with the extras.
