Following the successful move to their new production facility, and the subsequent production and capacity testing, NG Model have provided the following photographs of their delayed June and July 2021 releases. The production consolidation and expansion will continue in the coming weeks with full enhanced and increased production planned for Q3 2021.
As I understand we can expect a number of innovative new moulds and exciting retro airlines/liveries releases in the coming months.
That said, to the latest release photographs -

Re: NG Model 1:400 June/July 2021 Release Photogra
Well, the colors on the Iran 747SP at least match the those of the previous release. Too bad it's not matching the real deal. And sadly the nose hasn't been adressed.
As for the A330s, NG might want to consider printing the window line a bit higher - might save them a print once they have reached the rooftop.

Big disappointment. I pre-ordered two of these. I will now cancel my order. I was begging NG models to get the Iran Air blue colour lighter but they didn’t listen. I am not interested in this model.
Re: NG Model 1:400 June/July 2021 Release Photogra
Looks like I'll get the China Airlines 747SP and the Dragonair L-1011.
Does the picture of the Iran Air 747SP models together mean that they've made the replacement for the earlier 747SP's that had major paint defect? If so, I'll take my replacement and let that stand in for both. As noted above, NG didn't lighten up the blue paint on the new Iran Air SP, so I'm not getting it. I don't care what manufacturer it is, please get the colors right!
Jim

Waiting for the Koryo to arrive. Thanksfor that!
The nose isn't going to be addressed, they said several months ago they didn't see the problem. In line with much of the collectorate, other than those who like to turn every NG release thread into a discussion about the allegedly terrible nose shape and microscopic details. Why they haven't altered the paint hue I don't know, I'll put mine in the sunshine for a bit.

I’m a bit disappointed at the printing/color of the CI SP. I’m not sure of the Cockpit window and the black anti reflector - the gap between them seems too wide(the white in between is putting me off) Also the color below the cheat line the gray seems off to me?

Loving the Cubana! Can’t wait to get mine!

You should already know that the colors of NG’s pics are wrong due to saturation and compression of the image.

Indeed, it was a lesson from the past. Everyone should’ve noticed that in the meantime. Let’s wait for the models arriving on the shelves of our retailers.
The L-1011s look great. But the cabin windows on the A330s definitely need to be printed quite much lower…

NG appear to have depicted the China Airlines SP in later condition with the belly painted pale grey. B-1880 was delivered in April 1980 with a polished metal underside. Photos circa 1987 show the belly painted by then. Ordered this & the Iran Air to join the post '79 revolution version.

Re: NG Model 1:400 June/July 2021 Release Photogra
Can someone clarify the issue with the Iran Air SP's please. I see two different models (and two different boxes by the looks of things). Is either of them "correct" in terms of colours etc?

I’d say something between 20cm and about half a metre is indeed quite “much” when you transfer it from 1/400 to 1/1. . “Much” enough to make up a remarkable difference, to say the least.
Re: NG Model 1:400 June/July 2021 Release Photogra
Only the China Airlines for me atm. I wasn't interested in the Iran Air but it's probably just aswell because obviously the colour is wrong and by the looks of it, it hasnt been addressed!! Dunno whats going on here???

Love the colour and printing - but something that bugs me is that the engine pylons seem a bit low / with a sharp drop at the point where it attaches to the wing?

Looks fine to me. I have a couple A330s and those look good actually.

I think you'll need the Arizona desert sun for that job!!!

I think the Iran Air 747SP’s Navy Blue shade may be slightly dark but not too bad, as mentioned above and before NG uses extreme amounts of saturation on their photos when in reality most of the color shades are correct. The Malaysia models that have been made over the last year are a prime example, in NG’s Photos the navy blue looks extremely dark but it is much lighter and accurate to the real life livery in person, I would think it would be very similar case for the Iran Air. Hopefully the QC is much better this time. All these models are looking sharp and i’m very excited to everybody’s thoughts on them!

As has been discussed before it's not slightly to dark, it is simply the wrong - later - shade IMO.

Hey, my apologies, all of the messages were worded open ended to where they could’ve been interpretative in different ways. I see what you guys are getting at now and there was a message about saturation as well so I thought you guys were talking about the shade of this livery opposed to the lighter blue livery. I really hope they make the lighter blue livery, it appears to be rather popular!

My June / July August NG's arrived a few days ago and over the weekend I unboxed them as part of a new video on the channel. So here are my thoughts on the 6 I acquired:

Although that silver finish looks ok on the Dragon L-1011, a silver-painted Eastern example would be a total cop out given AC's recent fully polished offering...I'm really hoping they get this issue sorted as like it or not, the silver paint is still a compromise no matter how well it's done. You just can't beat the real metal finish.

At this point, I'm wondering if NG somehow permanently damaged the L-1011 mould and isn't telling us. I don't know enough about the process to know how you can have a problem simply leaving a model surface unpainted and buffing it. In any event, I would refuse to buy a silver-painted NG Eastern bare-top.
NG either needs to get the problem solved, or make a new mould. Bare-metal is the proper way to do bare-metal finish models.
