Default Curious about Gemini Jets 1/400 P-8 Poseidon

Hello! New collector checking in from South Korea.

I have a question about an aircraft model with little information online, and I figured this was the best place to ask.

I asked a similar question in the military aircraft board, but figured asking here would help as well.

Anyway, I recently purchased the Gemini Jets 1/400 P-8 Poseidon in RAF colors for a very good price. Before purchasing the model, I tried to look for information on it to see if it was worth getting. Unfortunately, since it is a relatively new release, it was difficult to find good reviews or information regarding this particular aircraft model.

To fellow collectors who own this model, how is it? I am new to collecting non-fighter aircraft, so I don't exactly know how Gemini Jets aircraft are besides the mixed opinions I saw regarding the brand.

Help and advice from experienced collectors is highly appreciated!

I'm sure there will be much more in-depth replies here, but I have the RAF P-8 you've purchased and think it's an excellent model. Good additional detailing on the antennae's and other equipment on the fuselage and great representation. the Gemini Military models are often some of their best in my opinion.

The GJ P-8 models are very good, the nose is significantly better than the GJ civilian 738, but perhaps, some of the antenna are too big.

I remember seeing this model - it is really detailed with all the different antennas! Gemini commercial planes are OK, never bought a military model but they look really nice

I have one in RAAF colors and also have the Panda version in RAAF colors, both 1/400.

I prefer the GJ version.
