Default Help Needed: someone with a DW shuttle transport a

3D printing a part for the model and need exact measurements. Need to know the width of a single support on the front support, the width of the part that goes into the shuttle in the front and the length of that same part (depth of piece of front support that goes into shuttle). I’d also like to know the total width of piece (the width at the widest point between the two support beams).

Bumping this thread. Again if anyone can take measurements of their dragon 747 front support I would really appreciate it.

I can try. I found a 3D model and have been using my crude editing skills to prepare the part I need for printing. There is also the option, since these pieces seem to be crumbling for a lot of people, that we pool some money to find and pay a 3D modeler to make the parts and allows us to make the file public for printing for those who need it.

I found an artist who will design the front and back support for 60 USD. If everyone who wants the design puts in a little we can have a very cheap solution that can be printed for a little more at shapeways or another site. The only issue is that we must give exact measurements to him and then we have to hope that shapeways or whichever printer is used has a very low margin of error.
