Still no acknowledgement of the wing join gap? Must be big enough for Andrew to hide in.
That will never happen. We saw it with the Air Canada 727 they put an incorrect (non-existent) registration on. He will never acknowledge a problem or mistake appropriately, always either ignore or find excuses, all while belittling other brands. His excuse for the misprinted registration was "Well, they're too small to see anyway". Why even bother printing the registration then?
Tom & Murray (and Robert) run an excellent operation over in Braybrook!! Lovely place to stop into as well if you're in the area!!

Someone should try to buy that mould off of Dragon.
They just had a 727-200 winglet version I believe. A super 27 can both have/not have winglets, it just has the number 1-3 engines retrofitted with JT8d-217/19 (MD80 engines). That being said, I wonder how hard it would be to dig out the engines on a GJ/DW MD80 and and stick them on 727 model.
Probably still easier than my plan to chop a super common DC-8-73 model down into a DC-8-72.
Engines is easier, but the chop is certainly doable - did it on a few models already to very satisfying results.
If a swap for the JT8D-2.. is in order, I'd go for a DW M80 donor as the GJ's engines are horrible. The donor 722 also would be a DW.
I wouldn't want to touch an AC 727, too much work to get them to look like a 727.

What did you use to make the cuts? Glue to reattach?

Handsaw sounds fun. I’ve got a mini-mill that I’ve never used, might be worth a shot.

Cutting diecast stuff isn't a big deal as the material is rather soft.
A mini-mill sounds good, might save you some time. The sporty-9 I linked to was cut, filed and sanded all by hand.
Yeah, now gotta look up where and how much to cut off
