Default JC Wings B 747-400 Blank, Flaps down

What's not to like? For $35 from johanchan2004 (eBay) and $8. shipping/handling from Hong Kong, arrived in 15 days. Would seem to be a very competitive mould, with good wing/fuselage join, a righteous nose, and triple slotted flaps and slats hanging out. I like it, and look forward to seeing more releases on the mould. Doug

There are a few things that they need to resolve with it but it is pretty good. I actually wrote a detailed 747-400 review a while ago and haven't got around to publishing it yet. I should get a move on...

I have the flaps up version enroute and a tasty set of Iberia decals to boot.

I've always wondered why there isn't a 747-400 review on your page.
I just ordered this model a few days ago to, can't wait!
I hope JC release a 727-100/200F and A340 spermwagon too.

Thanks, Mark. Very simple, very easy. Up on a Gemini Jets stand, and erase the stand with Photoshop. Doug

Al - when the project is completed, please show your results. Many more 'blank' models becoming available, allowing for more customs. Doug

I received the "flaps down" version last week and I converted it to a 747-400 BCF or BDSF.
Although the 747 that I want to make, has P&W engine and still some decals are missing, it already looks very good and it was really a lot of fun of doing that.

best regards,
Jan

Just get the acetone out and remove the printed window line, that's what I did with mine. Now resplendent in Iberia livery.

Nicely done, Big Al. You may need a bigger hanger for that one... And the decals look good, too. Doug
