Looks pretty decent. Wondering if I should replace my GJ, if it's worth $50 to do it.

Was the cheat/windowline ever a real problem?
The slightly wrong nose profile was and still is - as seen on this one. Though that is nitpicking on a high level I admit.

Still waiting for mine to put it next to my old Gemini.

I have no problem with a little too-high sitting cheatlines - as long as the both are on the same level - and in case of the Qantas it wasn't.

I disagree! An incorrect nose profile is a legitimate complaint, as that truly affects how it looks. It just is not correct, and is one thing that needs to be fixed. The cheatline may be higher on one side, but having the correct nose profile wont exacerbate that flaw.

You know, I've simply given up as we're almost through with SPs I'm interested in, only the United Saul Bass is missing.

But I sure hope NG nails that nose profile on their 747Classics!!
It'll decide on whether I spend big dollars on diecast models or put my money elsewhere. The wife's hoping they're going to screw it...:D

What are you on about? The border between blue and white in the cheatline should be just at the tip of the nose cone.
Still too high, or rather nose still too low.

I meant the cheatlines viewed from the side are on one level - so it is symetric.
