The C-GXXX could be another Air Canada - either an L-1011-1 in delivery c/s (if polished belly problem is fixed), late '70's red cheat-line c/s or late '80's burgundy stripe? Or a -500 in burgundy stripe c/s. Or, another Air Transat example...

...or may be Worldways Canada (-1)? Or Star Airlines (-500)?

That JY- L-1011 sounds promising. Personally, I’d buy all five versions illustrated in Ciderman’s post. The Royal Jordanian version issued by another brand a few years ago was well below any 1/400 standard, both mould- and paintjob-wise; so every single Jordanian livery would be welcome.

I'd especially be interested in the original, very short-lived experimental delivery c/s - I don't think this has ever been done in 1/400?

Not that I’d know of! Neither in 1/400 nor in 1/200 due-cast metal, by the way.

Another pretty boring set of releases tbh. The 787s are interesting as there’s an etihad in there. My guess is that it’s the choose USA livery as ng did ask about that. Hopefully next month will be better.

Well there we go. That would make it an original subject and a great release should it be seen across both scales.

It’s possible for ANA but they done it in their earlier days, could be JAL. That 9M- has too much possibilities that I can’t even imagine!

N21XXX could be N21723, N213WN, or N214WN. N21723 was the first 737-700 in the new United livery and N213WN was the one with the "Free bags fly here" decal. N214WN is Maryland One

Yes. Either that or Jet Airways. Or maybe a Vistara 737. Excited for all none the less.

If it is Worldways, has NG accounted for the belly mod, aft of the nose gear? Originally a PSA machine I believe?

Most likely its an ANA 787-10. They have done the -9, but not the -10. JAL does not have any 787 with a JA9 registration.

So it is, ex PSA and, therefore, protective fairing on the forward part of the belly would be nice since it was operated most of its operational career at Worldways with the belly fairing still installed. However, at the end of their career, it had been removed. See Air Britain photography when both aircraft were in storage after Worldways‘ demise.

Will replacement Iran Air 747SPs be shipped this month? Those of us who received the defective models with paint gouging in the upper fuselage are still owed replacements. Here's a reminder of my original post from Nov. 7, 2020. Yes, I'm going to keep asking until NG responds and the model is in my hands.

Jim

Here's my copy of the Iran Air 747SP. Unfortunately there are two oblong gouges in the upper fuselage just ahead of the tail, as if someone pressed tongs against the cast fuselage before it cooled. It was just painted over. I've written the dealer asking for an exchange.

But, as usual, I post a photo of the model in its received condition. There wasn't any grobotnik to clean off. The forward pair of wheels on the forward port landing gear had popped off and were loose in the box. The blue is indeed way too dark, though not quite as bad as in NG's photos.

I included a nose profile. One problem, at least on my copy, was a long triangular flat zone running down the nose below the two center cockpit windows. It is very noticeable 'in the flesh.' So, apparently still some work to do on the nose.

Jim

Out of all the Malaysia Airlines Negaraku 737s they chose the one that has been transferred to their subsidiary Firefly. There’s still three more that wear that livery that still flies for Malaysia Airlines

That kinda sucks. Maybe they can change the rego if it’s brought to their attention. I think they’ve done it before.

They have done it on their Vistara 787-9 changing it into VT-TSF, but as of writing there’s no Vistara 787-9 with that registration of VT-TSF

The aircraft is still in that livery..

As a massive F1 fan, I’ll be grabbing this one!

Not really a retro collector, but those L1011s look cool too.

The Alia L-1011-500 release is brilliant! It’s the first ever time we have an example of the early delivery scheme in this scale. Just that for me this month.

I'm looking at picking up the United Pair, the Vistara, the Jordanian, maybe one more after that. A decent month. Good job NG.

Finally Alia's first test livery is covered. Hoping to see the rest of Jordanian liveries over the coming months.

Glad to see the f1 etihad on this list. Love that livery and seen it in the flesh a few times so at least there’s something for me this month

How is that ‘complaining’. It’s just a possible minor touch they could’ve done to make it more ‘realistic’. I’m still appreciative for them making it.

Whatever you say you don’t seem to complain when other people ‘complain’. I too gonna stop here because I ain’t wasting time arguing.

Wish people would stop feeling the need to correct people’s opinions on new releases by telling them they’re complaining. This is supposed to be an open discussion forum. If you don’t like the feedback for some reason, I’d say just ignore it.

Nice releases. Happy to see the Nike Gulfstream and Midwest CRJ-200!

I've been waiting a long time for that Alia livery! I'll be getting that one, and think about Worldways.

Looks like NG changed the Malaysia to a registration that is in service now.

Per email:

“We just corrected some descriptions for the new releases:

58103 Malaysia Airlines 737-800/w 9M-MSE < Negaraku c/s>
55062 Etihad Airways 787-9 Dreamliner A6-BLV

Besides, we corrected the artwork of the 77003 ( UA 737-700 n/c) instead the old one missing the horizontal stabilizers.“
