The Singapore 747, what mould is that?

Is that a worthy purchase?

Wasn't that release the Singapore/Garuda hybrid 9V-SQL? This release looks like it will be in the standard SQ livery.

Just seen images of the 9V-SIA and it's in the 70/80s livery with 'California here we come' titles on rear fuselage. Probably be on BigBird mould similar to 9V-SQL.

It will be interesting to see how this one compares to the Aeroclassics release of January 2005 vintage, 9V-SQF. 9V-SIA is a nice addition for the fleet, being the very first 747 to join Singapore Airlines in 1973. It also just scraped in the "California Here We Come...April 1979" titles as it left their fleet in November '79 to join Flying Tigers.

Might have to go for that SQ 742,
Wonder if a 744 in the billboard scheme on the new mould is planned too?

The Star Alliance livery would also be popular IMO. A series of Singapore jumbos were released about 15 years ago on the BigBird mould under the guise of Blue Angle. However, despite the artwork on the box, they never got round to making the Star Alliance livery. JC have just released a Thai Star Alliance billboard 744 so fingers crossed a Singapore version is on the cards

That is one that eluded me when I was collecting. One for its scarecity and other for the price they commanded on the secondary. May get this just because.
