Default NG models March releases?

Whats been going on with NG recently? With the new Gemini releases getting so much attention you’d think NG would come out from their Chinese New Year hiatus with their March releases but so far nothing! Not even their February models have shipped out yet. Hopefully we hear from NG very soon! 🙂

From my understanding, NG isn’t going to do a March release due to Chinese New Year. April should be their first releases since then.

My American Airlines and PanAm 747SPs have been flying around in a holding pattern for so long, they're going to run out of fuel... Doug

Don’t worry, their SPs, they’ve got the range, now if that was a 741 or something you should probably be concerned

GJ should be getting the attention for some of those great models they are releasing!! I'm not interested in what the bottomfeeders bring to the table.

I was also wondering, though thought it was because of chinese new year. Pretty excited about the SPs and wondering about what they changed on the 1011 mould...

A Qantas 747SP from NG is in the works for sure.

For me, I just keep wondering what future A350s will be released, which is my favourite aircraft of all times.

I'm also excited about the B747SP since it's going to be my first SP. I even have a stand ready for it when it lands. Cannot wait to see pictures of the Pan Am SP!
Wondering what aircrafts/liveries NG will release next month and if they will be launching any of their B736/7/9 new moulds.

I fully understand about the moulds that Panda cloned and stole, and that's the main reason why I don't own any Panda models. Not sure what's wrong with NG though... they seem do be doing a decent job...at least in my opinion

At one time Andrew WAS NG, but not recently. Lost his competitive edge, and it's not pretty. Still a valuable player, but no longer the flag bearer, Doug

The NG release announcements from Feb were advertised as being available in late March/early April. I would expect the next set of announcements then:

I'm sure NG will be out in force in April, easily outclassing some of these legacy classics producers and their outdated moulds and detailing.

Box art for the Feb releases have started to appear on the NG facebook page, so hopefully the releases may not be far away now. Box art looks pretty good for this batch.

Saw the box art go up on their FB page. Looks good. As I noticed on there, the box art for the Gulf Air TriStar is lovely, but they've got the product title wrong, it’s down as a -200 whereas in actual fact, A4O-TY was a -100F. They’ve used the correct artwork for the aircraft itself though, so hopefully it’s being made on the right mould as well!

I've seen different designatots for this airframe, but an F (freighter!) it was certainly after its life with Gulf.
The more reliable databases have it as a 1011-1, later converted 1011-200 (this release) and finally a freighter conv.

Ah! I see, that would make sense. Thanks for that. I pulled the info from airfleets.net - usually that's quite a good DB, but obviously a bit lazy in places. In a way, I wish NG had released this as the earlier -1, with the white belly.

They didn’t retro-fit A4O-TY with a Frisbee Fairing when it was converted to a -200...that’s what caught me out.
