It has perhaps almost gone unnoticed that Panda have a new 737-800 mould and a new 737-700 mould coming. The releases so far probably don't suit a Western audience much but I enjoy Indonesian airliners so had to get the latest trio from Airshop Diecast, which use the new mould:

Looks very similar to NG's B738 mould. The only thing I dislike about it is the height of the nose gear; the rest looks good though.
Are there any antennas at the bottom of this mould?

Yes two on the underside. I agree there is some variance in the 3 with the nosegear fit. One is higher than the other two.

Looking like the NG version is definitely a complement.

Yeah, LZM's nose gear is a bit higher than the other two. NG had the same issue with their first B738s releases, but they successfully fixed it.
I really like this mould, but I will like it even more if they keep polishing those little details.

Plane crazy

Have you managed to get Panda's recent Singapore release yet Richard? 9V-MGK I think it is. I see you have pictures of one on your website.
I'm trying to get hold of one but don't think any have made it to Europe yet. Don't really want to settle for the Phoenix version.

I follow, or 'like', Airshop Diecast on Fbook but didn't receive their post about these models.
Fbook made some changes a few weeks ago and now I get a whole different set of notifications and none from many of my friends.
I had a good experience buying a Batik A320 from them last year. Nice people to deal with.
I like the white fin 737 model. It came from Malindo in Malaysia so probably will be repainted in the fullness of time.
