Alaskana Graphics: Alaska Airlines 1972-1976

It has been a while since I posted a new avhistory blog entry and this is simply because I've been so busy with other material and that these types of posts take so much effort. One thing I want to do is revisit some of my original posts, which are a little amateur and update them with new images and new text, especially when I come across new data.

In this piece I have completely rewritten my original entry on the topic of one of my favourite liveries - the Alaskana graphics:

Very interesting history, Richard, that I wasn't aware of. I must admit I don't have any Alaska Airlines models in this livery, just sticking to those classics in the earlier 'Golden Nugget' scheme - L.382 Hercules, B727, Convair 880 & 990 and Connies.
