I like the sound of the Boeing House colours 747-400F N6005C. Think only Dragon/Jet-X have done it so far and rarely comes up for sale so this will be a popular release. JC certainly seem to be pumping them out recently. Here's hoping 2021 will be war of the jumbos between 400 scale manufacturers, just as last couple of years saw many new Tristars released.

Don't forget that this is the freighter version. As far as I know, Dragon only made the 744 pax and combi versions.

Btw, I have a Dragon 747 combi in house livery for sale, if anyone is interested 😛

Bruce Lee 747..... don't know whether this is going to be something that will be forgotten quickly, or if this will be like the Ferrari 787, commanding stupid prices in the future. I personally like it, might just go ahead and get it, even thought doesn't fit any collecting criteria whatsoever!

I like JC's usage of the 737-500 these days. Is it considered out of bounds for JC to release one in United Battleship colors?

Sorry, I meant Jet-X but combine their name with Dragon as they were essentially the same product. Their 747-400FSCD(ER) had a French registration as it saw service with Air France Cargo after certification.

Yes, I just started an extra Aer Lingus shelf too. Hopefully see a 737-400 too, in late 90's scheme with red 'dot com' logo.

Russ, do you know which livery the Aer Lingus 737-500 is going to be ? EI-CDA was delivered in the 80's green top livery before going into the 1998-2019 colours. There's no Boeing 737 narrow body fleet done in the later scheme yet (AFAIK).

I'm not really informed about this livery, but is there anything special about it which makes a lot of people buy it? Usually these fancy liveries are unique but not many people want to spend money on a fantasy livery.

It's not an actual livery, and the product was made by JC essentially for sale in Bruce Lee's birth place Hong Kong by Tiny Cities a Hong Kong merchandiser. It's just a bit of fun really, to commemorate the November 2020, 80th anniversary of the birth of 'the mastah'...

Nice to see JC using their 737 classics a bit more. I see there's a 734 I've been waiting for in there as well, albeit not in the immediate releases.
More 737 classics and more operator variety would be welcome.

Clearly people do spend money on fantasy liveries otherwise they wouldn’t keep making them.

I’ll probably get the AA even though I’m sure NG will get around to one. Same with the Battleship United they released.

Decisions...

There's quite a few 80th anniv. edition stuff on eBay: diecast double decker bus, diecast Audi R8, skateboards, action figures, etc.

Ok thanks for asking. It'll sit nicely amongst the Aeroclassics 737-200 and 737-700. I'd still hope to see some Lingus 737 action in the late 90's livery though. The mainly white but with green or blue tail with large 'dot com' livery would be nice to see too. I think those appeared on 735 and 734 fleet.
