El Aviador has branched out into 400 scale in recent months, which is surely a boon for those loving Latin Classics. They have partnered with the Aeroclassics factory, to use the AC moulds, and now have two models released, and three more announced:
Richard, thank you for highlighting El Aviador Models.
Prior to them expanding into 1:400 scale, I purchased all of their LACSA releases; A320, B732 and B722 in 1:200 scale. I don't collect 1:200 scale, but these were 3 models I just had to have.
I have also purchased the TACA A321 and LACSA B722 in 1:400 scale and preordered 2 of the forthcoming L188 Electra's. I note your comment that the price of the models are a bit high at $49.00. You may not be aware, but that price includes shipping.
Overall, I am exceptionally pleased with their releases to date. Clearly, they have identified a niche for themselves and are fulfilling a demand for models of Latin American Carriers.
The price charged by aviation megastore for the Lacsa 727 is way over the top.
€ 59.96 (almost $70) made me loose my interest in this model very fast...

Equates to £56 including P & P, plus probably get £18 tax on entry charge.
This is why I have to cherry pick these days.

Hope they get to use the Aeroclassics BAC One-Eleven mould, as I would love this in VASP ( Brazil) LANICA (Nicaragua) and Faucett (Peru) colours.

Very glad to see Aeroclassics 1:400 moulds getting put to more use. I had not heard of El Aviador before. I'm all for more Latin classics, and got a copy of the LACSA 727 for far less than what folks in Europe apparently are being asked to pay for it. What's the problem there?
More Latin classics I'd like to see:
DC-9-50
Aeropostal late 1970's cheatline livery
727-100
Air Panama late 1970's livery
Aviateca gorgeous late 80's blue-top livery
Aviateca funky yellow-and-orange stripe earlier 80's livery
737-200
TACA early 1980's 'Airbus house' livery
