That screenshot already is missing one of the Faucett DC-8s, which sold out so quickly that it was gone within about 5 minutes. Even I missed it, which was a bit annoying!

Really eying that United DC-10. Although it’s a CPAir leased one from what I was told, it reminds me of United 232. I’m not far from where the crash occurred so it holds a special place in my memory. Never visited any sort of memorial (don’t know if there’s one) regarding the crash but may have to at some point.

Interesting variety this month. There really isn't anything I need though. Hope others are excited, there's no doubt some great selections however.

Yes! Both Vladivostok Tupis for me!
Has the Aeroflot DC-8 been released before? I'm sure I've got one in a cabinet somewhere.

In any case, spasibo bol'shoi Andrew!

Ah!The Aeroflot DC-8 is in 1:200 scale this time. All is right with the world then.

Well, a nice set of releases, looking forward to picking up the Ethiopian 727 and Sabena A310 to start.

Tempted by the Jordanian A310, although it was really the delivery scheme that was my priority.....

perhaps Andrew will tweak the printing and release that next month

Pleased to see the Tu-154 mould getting some more use (both B and M variants) - perhaps there still hope for a replacement Balkan 90's livery one day to replace my zinc rotten 2003 Aeroclassics release!

I'm also interested in the delivery scheme. But with white wings and engines and a correct tail logo, please!

Wow great month! Aeroclassics has really been clearing out the wallet lately with the these OB releases and the beautiful N7001U.

Was lucky to snag both Faucetts from Eztoys before they sold out!

Why make such a limited release of the Faucett? Very mysterious. Wanted to get my hands on one but I don't have the time to sit around pressing F5 to try and snag one within a minute of release. Oh well. Will show up at my door in 5 years I'm sure

Me too, but equally so would the later livery. The previous release was prone to zinc rot and mine is slowly crumbling away.

Perhaps it could be one of those situations where only part of the shipment arrived at the warehouse. Hopefully we will see more.

I was wondering the same thing.
Seems to be a trend with the Peruvian releases. The recent AeroPeru 727 seemed to be limited and the red/pink AeroPeru DC-8 from a few years ago was the same way - still haven’t been able to get my hands on that one

After more than 9 months without ordering any aeroclassics model because I don't collect airlines from the past Finally aeroclassics released the A310-300F Royal Jordanian Cargo wish i really want it, but i don't think the fuselage livery has the correct color ? the fuselage seems too black to me can someone tell me if it is the right color of the actual plane ?
thanks

Crazy to think that some people just keep hitting refresh on the aeroclassics site until the releases are put up, reminds me of people queuing up at an apple store overnight to get the new iphones (accept for me a model is more exciting ).
Wonder if the people who did this had any idea that the model was TBA? Or do people do this every month?

Ridiculously underproduced, it seems. It is a shame when collectors who would genuinely want these are priced out immediately.

But if you were the one paying the price for their production and you weren't sure they'd sell like they have, would you have carelessly risked hundreds of not thousands of dollars? Yes, it would be nice if we could all have what we wanted when we wanted, and yes, I've been a critic of this method too but I'm a big fan of limited releases. If you want something that bad, be ready to put up the cash the second they go on sale. I've been online at the time of release for AC, they do sell out quick, but it's not like trying to buy a PS5. Keep doing what you're doing AC

Well, market is too big for a limited 85 unit release.

My haul has arrived from ARD and love the United 727-21 delivery scheme, the Ethiopian 727-200, Air Niugini 707 with roof logo and SABENA A310. Only issue with the SABENA A310 is that the engines droop down and not fixed horizontally. Thankfully saved by gently snapping them off and re-gluing them on level! I noticed this in the release photos, but clearly this is not a 'one-off'.

Very tough to gauge the market demand for certain models. The recent Air France DC-4 wasn't a hot seller and was expected to be.

Were the Faucett DC-8s expected to be schitty sellers? 85 copies tells me the answer is YES. Or is 85 also the number of Air France DC-4s released?

A little less than 200 pieces of both Faucett's versions were released. Hard to believe there are that many Peruvian collectors eager for this one?
