NG Model launch their 2021 release schedule with the following 1:400 January 2021 release "hints", the formal release announcement will be made shortly.
I can only think of one 757 I still want, and it doesn't appear to be the N- offered (I'm looking for America West delivery livery; if any are something other than N9XXXX or N6XXXX I don't know).
747SP mould still needs the nose reshaped a bit, so I hope that's being done. See Waffle's high quality pix of the SAA; the cheatline looks slightly high to me, but the nose-point still seems visibly too far below.
L-1011, get the bare-metal issue resolved, please. I look forward to more L-1011's.

What specifically are you asking to be improved upon? That photo does not compare one manufacture to another.
The nose cone should be a big bigger and longer, it’s a very minor thing, but it’s true that JC got that slightly better. To be honest personally it’s something that doesn’t matter too much for me.

Ugh I have to say this is a very disappointing month of releases and typifies some of my minor annoyances with NG at the moment.
No Tristars or 747SPs and random unimportant 757s from nations that barely ever operated the type (9M and VH) rather than some of the many N-, G-, or European 757s left to be made from major operators or from the types heyday.
If it wasn't for the B-reg there wouldn't be anything for me. Presumably the ARJ21 is the One Two Three Airlines release advertised on taobao recently.
The Vietnamese A321s could be Bamboo perhaps?
At least it'll free up some cash for the Aeroclassics releases.

Models I want to see in 1/400:
Boeing 737-200/300 Condor (grey), Boeing 737-500 Air France, Boeing 747-200B SAA (white belly), McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 Aero Lloyd
Once again, quiet month for US collectors, but at least there's one N-registered release this time. May finally get a shot at one of their widebodies as I've really been eying them for a while!

My sentiments exactly. I don't know what this N-reg 757 is going to be, but I sure hope it's not a Hooters Air! I don't remember anyone even asking for one.
This month's GJ releases are a total yawn fest. Unless AeroClassics brings back more modern Airbuses or interesting DC-9s and 737s, it's going to be a very cheap month for me too.
Some interesting stuff on here. I'd personally be interested in the qatar a350 and the Ethiopian 787. I hope we get some European narrowbodies as the last modern one we had was enter air months ago 🙂 🙂
NG Models should concentrate on classic releases again, like in the beginning.
Lockheed L-1011-500 LTU (polished belly!)
Boeing 757-200 LTS
are still missing.
I hear you man! The L-1011-500 in regular LTU colours incl. polished belly as well as the LTS 757 would be highly much appreciated. LTU-Süd 767-300 was on my agenda, too.
What’s happened to the L1011 and 747SP??
I was just informed that my SAA 747SP will not be delivered till unknown date due to manufacturing issues.
NG should concentrate on classic releases more rather then all these new models as JC, AV400 and JC400 have already released them.
Let’s see some classics!
Nothing for me in Jan. And hope the SAA will come soon if at all 😞

I love what they're making with the 757 mould.
Making some of the smaller cargo airlines, the Raya 757 will go well in my Transmile group fleet (which later became Raya Airways), I believe this was the last airline to fly 727's in Asia (up until 2018 due to new noise restrictions in Singapore?) I really hope Aeroclassics release a 727 in their last scheme one day. - https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/8449638
Pacific Air Express is another which will go alongside my VH-PAE 727.
Hopefully the other 757 is ATI which had a very cool fleet in the past with their DC-8's, I'd like to see a DC-8-62 in the last c/s.

I agree, I'd like the last color scheme for the DC-8-62, and I'd also love to see the DC-8-72 but that'll never happen since I don't think Aeroclassics has any of the DC-8s with CFM56s, only Gemini could do it and they'd have to kitbash their DC-8-71/3 and DC-8-62 moulds.
EDITED: Just realized that Gemini never made a -62 so basically the -72 will never happen.
I hope he'll relent at some point and make N799AL since it's historic as the last pax DC-8, ever.
I flew on the ATI DC-8CF back in 2013 from WSAP to FJDG, that was a cool experience. Although honestly at the time I didn't know the difference between the -62 and -72, but it was one of the two.

Yeah, i have the Gemini -71, it's a nice model, but it seems they made too many, as there's a lot of NIB models on ebay at various retailers.
I'd settle with the Aeroclassics -62, but it's very hard to find. One popped up on ebay a while ago, but sold very quickly. I hope they make it in the N/C one day. But happy with my -71 for now.
I don't have enough DC-8's in my collection, Beautiful airliner.

My ATI DC-8-62 flight was in 1995 from RJTY to RJOI. Boarded from the rear door with seating in the rear half only and flew with the front half of the aircraft full of cargo. Very unique flying experience (not counting all of the crazy flights on military cargo aircraft!). Thankfully, AeroClassics released that DC-8 in 1/400 scale and it is one of the permanent models in my collection.

Nothing for me either! Only one (or perhaps two) 757s I would like that I thought would be no-brainers for NG - this colourful Ethiopian Airlines livery - pax and cargo versions.

Maybe I'll get the Ethiopian or the Phil Air, but overall non-plussed. NG seems to be leveraging liveries, i.e. more Bamboo and Qatar. Maybe I'm mixing up vendors
