It's all realtive I'd say. If an AC TriStar goes for 40, than 50 feels like a good deal for an NG.

I believe Waffle had an NG Model sale stock show up a few weeks ago, which would explain the lower prices. Have considered getting a couple of them but with Christmas being just 4-5 days out, I’ve prohibited myself from buying any new models as I got 14 coming for Christmas

Those are pre-production samples. According to DiMA 10 were made of those samples. Even still I imagine that Cathay 773 will not sell, along with that DW American MD83 Chrome that’s going for $100...

I could see NG making this Air Transat version in the future, definitely worth the extra money for the detail and accuracy you're getting. As far as the DW American MD-83 Chrome goes, it's a highly sought-after model, I sold mine for $130 several years ago to fund my other model purchases.

It's a Cathay, it's a Gemini, and it was never officially released so there's basically none in circulation. From what I understand.
