Wow, that's unbelievable. Even if I had 1k at my disposal, there is no way I would spend all of it on one model, don't care how rare it is or how badly i want it....but apparently that's just me..

Why rely on JC and their long *** lead times? Hopefully NG will take notice of the demand for CR9s and flood the market in both 1/400 and 1/200!

I think their last release was an Air Canada CRJ-705 (Not really a 900 per se but it’s the closest thing) from a few years ago. The new mold had its landing gear attached to the fuselage and I’m guessing they dumped the mold after the mass negative criticism. They’re still using the CRJ-700 and 200 molds so I don’t see why they couldn’t bring back a CRJ-900 tooling.

Update: another recently sold for $1650, but has been relisted by the seller and its max bid is $910 as of right now. The amount of demand for this aircraft is obviously underestimated by Gemini Jets; why they can’t revive the old CRJ-900 mold is unknown. I hope someone from GJ sees this and brings back that mold (not the new one with the ugly landing gear) for production because there’s a lot of requests for new CRJ-900 releases.
