Definitely the LH Express B735!! Wish GJ would use this mould more often too.

And possibly the Iberia B763. Will look at photos of actual model before hitting BUY.

You're absolutely right about Gemini and the 737-500 mould. At least we know it's alive and well. I really want to see a United 737-500 in the Saul Bass and the battleship gray schemes....

Very nice custom! I wonder how much longer it will be before the entire LH fleet is converted to the new livery. I much prefer this livery.

I saw that and it made me sad... I really want that JC Singapore 737 and the Garuda masked 737... but seems unlikely either will happen this year.

Do they reannounce them the month before they release?

JC kept that one quiet??
As much as I'm liking NG's SP,it'll be interesting to see JC's version. The thing I really hate about JC though is their release list is so inaccurate,as some models never materialise!! U get so excited about a particular release, just for it to never see the light of day! I wish they would address this very frustrating issue!! Anyway let's see what their SP looks like!

I'm waiting for NG's Pan Am 747SP. They were asking about nose-naming on FB so I'm guessing that's coming soon.

If I were to get a Pan Am SP, I’m definitely not getting JC because of their inconsistency with releasing models on time. Hopefully NG gets it done for November’s releases...

Was the 7-year plan formulated pre-COVID-19? With so many aircraft parked right now, maybe the livery transformations could be put on hold? Or, conversely, because they are parked, the plan could be accelerated!

Looks like the printing of the windows in the rear on the IB 767 is off as well as the engines seems off.

How about that Latam 777? Opinion?

Windows look good to me, no flaws. The only thing I see is that the visible engine (the left engine) is a bit bent upwards, but that may not be the case for every single model (hope so...).
The LATAM B777 looks really good, IMO. This mould is personally my favorite one.

Pre-ordered the IB 767 and the LH 737. Titles colors on the LH look a bit light, but maybe it's just the lighting and settings of the camera....

@harvey,

yes, perhaps. it was before the pandemic and I am not sure if painting the birds is an issue of costs. As far as I know they will do it while aircraft maintenance. Do You know if aircrafts will be painted in D-check?

But at least there are many lufthansa birds that still can be released in the old livery.
... and if something don't change You won't miss it.

with best regards
Jan

So many people on here critiquing cradle moulds and now I see JC printing seam lines onto their seamless A319.

I don't know. But I have another question for you. Why did JC Wings use the old cradle mould on their 777F Etihad Cargo?

You won't get an answer..

Of course, that's what a Babybus looks like with its composite wing-body-fairing.

I just find it funny that seams get printed on on a "seamless" mould.

I'm ok with these lines being printed on, but would like them much less prominent.

A cradle mould looks more like a toy and unprofessional imo. Those lines look much more professional and detailed.

I would easily buy more A320s if they do something about those gigantic engines ....

Is there any reason on why some companies insist on using a cradle mould?
To me, it looks so much more complicated. Is it easier/cheaper to produce?
I've always thought that the slot in wings would be easier to produce for manufacturers, (like skymarks) they are easy, and simple to attach the wings. (Not that I buy them anymore).

I'd assume that 5 pieces is easier to assemble than 6 pieces? I'm not exactly an expert in this

Agreed, but IMO it doesn't matter that much since the JC A32x moulds are the worst out there anyway. The nose and cockpit printing look nothing like they should. Panda's version of this Easyjet example is much better.
