These releases are pretty diverse! Four special liveries and many Malaysian/Indian releases!
For me, I'm getting Alaska HTWS.

I’ve spent too much on planes recently (was at 1 1:400 in April, probably north of 500 now). Only two for me, the Iran SP and the Alaska. Ideally I’d love the United and AF but they’ll have to wait.

Are you saying you had a single 1:400 model and suddenly purchased 500+ in five months? How much money do you have

Will pick up the Iran Air SP. Going by the artwork, the polished finish is back Hopefully NG have ironed out the problems they were having, and we'll be seeing some polished L-1011's again as well, including some early customer delivery examples (TWA Twin Globe, PSA, Saudia etc.). These would be very accurate, now that the RB.211-22 engines are available.

07002 Iran Air 747SP EP-IAB (final livery)

I hope the artwork is the correct representation of what I am getting ready to preorder? The 'Final Livery' is the current and I do not need this.

Yeah I noticed that too. Hoping that it's just an error with the description. The last thing I want is the boring "Euro-White" version

Speaking for myself here. When I statrted collecting in May of 2010, by Oct or early Nov, I had 215 models and spent almost $10k on them!

Hoping NG can clarify this sometime this afternoon. I will PM.

That would be good, thanks. This will be the very first SP I'll be getting from them, if it is indeed the version we're seeing here.

That is unreal. $10k is a fair chunk of change to drop in that time. I know that I've spent an eye-watering amount too, but it's been a slow burn. It's taken me around 13 or so years to build up a modest collection of 315 models, as it currently stands. A fairly strict collecting criteria has kept it to this number!

Back to topic, hopefully NG will confirm that Iran SP in this thread soon...

Indeed. I would gladly buy the cheatline-livery model depicted in the artwork. But I do NOT need another Euro-White current Iran Air livery.

NG, make sure the cockpit windows for the Iran 747SP are placed at the proper height this release! Need to be placed higher

At the rhythm NG releases planes they could all be well covered in a half a year. A nice mound from NG of this plane would be great.

Much of it were the BB BA Utopias at $100 plus each. All 3 AC/LC Varig 747's Both Avianca AC 747s and Viasa at I know for sure much more than $100. I got off to an expensive start!

This release looks really good. Lots of great stuff.NG should've done 9M-MAE or 9M-MAF instead of 9M-MAB. I already have the Phoenix 9M-MAB. However, I do applaud NG for doing 9M-MAG instead of 9M-MAC because I already have the Gemini Jets 9M-MAC. I'm definitely getting 9M-MAG and more. Keep up the awesome work NG!

NG it would be amazing if you guys could do like a box set of the first 5 air india 747-200B models called the "5 Emperors" as its called on one of air india brochures. That would be sick! Or make all seperately. The first 7 had the Emperor designation and the last 4 did not. In due time all the names of any 747B still in use, had "emperor" removed.

An Air India delivery cs. 742 is absolute must once a decent mould is available. Though I'm ok with just one.
But we're a bit of topic I'm afraid.

Btw, I'd love fantasy models like that 359 house colors - which might really sell in adequate numbers.

Look forward to getting a few of these. But from my observation of artwork, the window line on the Iran Air 747SP is too high. The bottom stripe should be just below the mid point of the nose cone, and this brings the window line up too high. I really hope this issue is corrected, especially since more 747 moulds seem to be in the pipeline and hopefully it’s only a height discrepancy and not a mould issue.

These would be very accurate, now that the RB.211-22 engines are available.
Pity that the polished belly's problem on Tristar still exists, we are still working on it.

I hope the artwork is the correct representation of what I am getting ready to preorder? The 'Final Livery' is the current and I do not need this.
We do the product as this artwork.
And sorry for the inaccurate description, how about "1990's color" ?

Indeed, they do. For now, I'll have much cheaper months with NG, it seems. The L-1011 mould is (now along with the 747SP) far and away the most historically-important mould NG has. Many of the L-1011's I want most have bare-metal bellies. Eastern, of course, has the glorious all-metal fuselage version.

I for one have little interest in recent Big Twins. I'll probably buy more airport postcards and books for now.

It will be quieter for me too, as I am waiting for those very same key releases. Hoping for that TAP delivery CS-TEA with polished belly one day, and I'd definitely be snapping up a polished Eastern when it happens. I'm grateful for the break, there's been a lot of pressure on with all these amazing releases from both NG and Aeroclassics, and the added bonus of classic 747/747SPs.

I am curious, what is the difficulty in producing polished bellies on the Tristars? Is this a problem specific to the Tristar mould or is it a problem with other NG moulds to?

Maybe it's a factory issue, maybe a different factory to the 757 ?

I am not entirely sure this one is lighting/camera. Arcunia has photos of this one up on eBay and the colors seem very similar to the release photographs.
