After seeing RStretton's review of NG's new - and arguably superior - A359 mould, I decided to make this thread for suggesting liveries for NG Models.
The one thing I want to suggest to NG Models before any liveries is refining to the mould for better accuracy in the cockpit/nose region - specifically removing the slight angular bump above the cockpit - since this area has been where all other A350 moulds have struggled. If NG can nail this, they will have the best A350 in 1/400 scale by far.
Moving on to liveries, the two I'd like to see most are the following:
A350-900 Vietnam Airlines:
A350-900 Aeroflot:
Other liveries I'd like to see down the line are:
A350-900 Singapore Airlines (10,000th Airbus Special)
A350-900 Lufthansa (old livery)
A350-900 Qatar
A350-900 China Southern
...and if NG ends up doing a -1000, these are the two I'd like to see:
I’d mainly like to request EC-NBE, An Iberia A350-900 (Named “Museo Del Prado”)
I went on it to my flight to New York from Madrid, and it was amazing. Went to the cockpit during flight and talked with pilots...
I currently own the JC IB A350, But they got the cockpit windows way too high, so even having the new mould and the rest being perfect, it ruins the whole models sadly (And phenix isn’t too good as well). So I’d love to finally see a good Iberia A350 (specially with this registration.
I’d also like to suggest:
- Fiji Airways
- Air France
- Delta
- South African Airways

Well we know where this thread will go..I personally wish they would make every A350 every flown including all the Airbus prototypes. In addition, I for one endorse they make every a350 that has not been ordered yet too.. This would make the collectors quite happy..

Maybe it isn't a matter of convincing people to replace what they have rather, a matter of meeting demand for an aircraft that still has many years of service ahead of it...

Crowded field already. Most have been made already in 1/400.
It Is like with the Tristar, if you can get something more accurate - get it. BTW JC or GJ models are also limited now, so maybe the one or other 350 might be sold out already.

I also need NG to release an IB A359. I got very disappointed when I got the JC Wings version of it. Mine has several red markings in the white area of the fuselage and the cockpit windows were placed a bit too high.

Same, in my case I didn’t had those red marking, and it’s an excellent model but those cockpit windows ruin the whole model...
Who will replace their A350 collection? Except for the Phoenix models. But I could also be wrong.
Some of us don't have any A350s to replace and are just waiting for the right manufacturer to release the model we're looking for. Got a GJ Delta and JC Iberia long ago and both went to eBay within a couple days of receiving them and haven't bought any A350s from those manufacturers since.
If AV400 releases these two liveries, I'll get them for sure. Will wait to see how NG A350s look after they release a few. I will not fall into the trap of preordering something based on art work or photos again.
It would great to see this one again, to replace the terrible early Phoenix release that became a spare parts donor for antenna, shortly after I bought it.

I hope to see a United A350 soon! They’re not getting them until 2027 but I guess if NG wants to do fantasy models now, this’ll work as one till then.

I find it somewhat baffling/frustrating that NG will go through the trouble of making new tooling for the RB211 afterbody on the Court Tristars and the chevrons on the core exhaust of the Delta A321 (and have at least suggested that they will do the same for the smaller flap fairings for a hypothetical A330HGW), but have decided against distinguishing between the older and newer A350 sharklets, which IMO are inherently more visible than any of the previous examples. With the current mould, it looks like they settled for a hybrid.
I can’t imagine UAL will ever take in A350s....at this point of the state of air travel.
I wouldn't be surprised either. Might as well see if they cancel their orders at some point...

If it is indeed the new form, it shouldn't be on either of MH's A350 (pretty sure all of MH's A350s have the old winglets, but they're definitely not on 9M-MAG/-MAB). Even if you were right, it just proves the point that they went for a one-size-fits-all approach.
Just in case the Easyjet A359 isn't a one-hit-wonder regarding fantasy models...
I have to ask WHY? NG have established themselves as a manufacturer of 100% accurate models ...but then go and announce a completely inaccurate fantasy model - an Easyjet A350. It's not as though Easyjet are likely to even order A350s as the latest news is that Easyjet is only just struggling to survive due to Covid. It may well collapse?

I think it'd be better for NG to stick to A350s with the newer sharklets, in which case the MH A350s are a bit of an oddity. To help, we can list which airlines only have A350s with the older design. MH, TG, Air Caraibes, Air Mauritius, Sichuan Airlines I believe are some of them. Most airlines either have both or else just the newer ones.
As for requests, I'd LOVE a Vietnam A350, either of VN-A898 or VN-A899 would be fantastic.
