Boeing 738

N86XXF - Southwest. Perhaps old colours with blended winglets rather than scimitars?

N37XXY - Delta. Expect it is N3758Y in the Sky Team colours (long awaited if so). There are two more Delta 738s in the current livery matching this reg too.

Boeing 752

PH-AXX - Air Holland again? While quite niche, it would be cool if it were in the "Air Scotland" livery with the Saltire on the tail.

N6XXXA - American. Old colours, no winglets?

Boeing 787

9V-XXX & 9V-XXX - Scoot? Believe they had one in a promotional livery at some point so I'd guess a regular livery and the promotional one.
VT-XXX - Vistara
A7-XXX - Qatar

Boeing 747SP

VP-XXX - Sands

Airbus A330

DQ-XXX - Fiji Airways
N81XXA - National A332, NG were asking questions about the livery on social media last week.

Likely a couple for me this month if the above are correct.

Highly likely in view of NG's release of the Sands Tristar but it could also be VP-BAT of Worldwide Aircraft Holdings (Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani - ex Emir of Qatar)

So, how about NG Models does the B 747-100, -200, and SP, and JC Wings handles the -400, flaps up and down. If JC does (eventually) release a -400, would Gemini switch over this (flaps up) mould? Inquiring minds want to know... Doug

Yeah that's one I suggested before and provided a video I made of it in training flights at Prestwick. Hopefully someone at NG Towers agreed with me...

Based upon what I'm seeing here--no time for reg hunting on Airliners.net--possibly only the N- 757 if it indeed is an American Airlines with no winglets, if it is the delivery livery.

No L-1011's?

Sands or VP-BAT 747SP are ones I'll pass on. VIP planes for the first SP's? Really? Not say Pan Am, United, or Qantas? I'll wait.

My wallet can use a break, I suppose.

I'm going to guess the CRJ is either N221PS or N223JS in newest United Express colors. I'll get one of those for sure!

You're thinking outside of the box, there. Clever. I wasn't thinking Delta when I saw the trailing 'A' in the hint, but you're absolutely correct.

Could be the '97 Ron Allen livery, Song, or maybe current livery with winglets (685-686).

Nope private aircraft don't float my boat whatsoever and private aircraft from the last 20 years even less so. Starting with that is an odd choice in my opinion - the 747SP was built as a classic passenger airliner not a rich man's plaything. I'd prefer airline colours.

Looks like this should be a pretty good set of releases. The 738 registrations scream Southwest and Delta, and the A330s look to be Fiji and National. Very curious about the N registered 757 though, hopefully a delivery colors AA or non-winglet Delta. For a winglet Delta, I'd much rather prefer a NxxxUS or NxxxDX registration since those aircraft fly a significantly wider range of routes including continental US, Hawaii, and transatlantic.

I doubt they’ll make it but I would love to see one of the DL 757s specially configured for NBA charters, including the “infamous” N666DN.

I noticed in the rendering that the Sands 747 cockpit windows are frameless as in the real thing. Hopefully this is reflected in the final model, because this detail has been glossed over in this scale.

Ughh that's a disappointing first 747SP!
Yes and no, I'd say.

First releases on new tooling always have their teething issues. Details to perfect, tweaks to be made. A 1st attempt will never be as good as a 2nd, 3rd, 4th. This held true on their 757's, L1011's.

So for me, I don't necessarily mind that their first SP release is a bit of an obscure version, with the more blue-chip liveries being made later-on.

Waffle's price on the 747SP is $51.95. I'll be curious to see other retailers, once they post their own pre-orders. So far, though, a pleasant surprise. Less than the expected $60+.

Edit: JetCollector also listed their pre-orders, and with the SP at a $51.95.

Absolutely this. Let's see the full blown printing on this guinea pig and if there are issues suggestions can be offered as NG seem to listen from what I can see. There's not a ton of subjects for SPs so they'll all come out in due time just like that elusive bare metal Eastern L-1011 I'm waiting patiently for.

DiecastAirplane’s list price is $49.95, and with a VIP coupon you can get it down to $44.95

07001 Las Vegas Sands 747SP VP-BLK WHY???

Very disappointing after all the livery requests and as predicted nearly £50.00 GBP from ARD! That's £49.50 GBP not $49.50 USD!!!

Collecting is becoming unsustainable!

Sounds like an issue with your retailer, its only $50 here in USD.

As for the subject, I'm sure more are coming.

The Vistara 787-9 is listed as VT-TSF, but the preview shows the reg VT-TSD.
Which one is correct?

It shouldn't cost you a penny, though, seeing as how you were quite vehement in stating you already have all the SP's you want:

In regards to the National A330 I have the JC Wings release but looking at photos did JC put the wrong engines on it and NG now have the correct ones? The reg seems to be the same, and looks to me the NG is correct and the JC is incorrect?

Horses for Courses I guess when it comes to the 1st 747SP release. Never had any interst in Govt or private planes so I never added one to my collection. Oh well. This would have been a great start imo.

It's around the same with other UK retailers - due to import tax/VAT added on at 20% by the Government.

Nothing for me this month. Which is good because I've got a lot coming from the other manufacturers

It's an issue. someones suggested us to change the reg to "F" to meet the fleet builders, agree?

We have to admit that you are correct. The current arrangement is for better performances in the future.
