Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"

No!! It’s JCW mould, JC introduced it some years ago (A350, 777, 787 and soon on the 747)

Hoping that too. But people are buying their current 777 mould so they don't have to change...

They release those liveries no one else do. Like Phoenix with their 747-400.

If I collected moderns, that Alaska 737-900 would be top of the list. That's neat, to do the non-ER variant without winglets.

Bummer, though. I keep hoping to see the Convair 580 reappear.

FINALLY, after so many years, another flippn' KC-135R in 1/400!!! RAF Mildenhall is a great release. I will get that one!

I don't know what it is, but I DO NOT LIKE that new United livery on the 777-300. Wish they would do a retro battleship or even the blue tulip livery on one of these.

Unfortunately, the 777-300 never wore either of those liveries. They were delivered in the ex-CO 'bingo cage' livery starting in 2016.

No, what I'm saying is I'm hoping United does retro liveries on a couple of their actual aircraft with those liveries. I would purchase the 1/400 models of those. This new livery 777-300 will not enter my collection.

They should've released one of the WGA spermwagons just for laughs. Wonder if one of the 747BCFs will follow suit shortly?

It's good to see Gemini finally getting access to the JC Wings 789 moulds but when can we see Gemini getting the JC 777 mould? Half of 2020 is gone and GJ is still using the old cradle-fit mould. With Av400 introducing a 777 mould, it makes the GJ mould really ancient. Obviously there may be some behind-the-scenes discourse that may preclude GJ from using the newer mould (though they used the JC 777 for the JASDF models) but I'll wait on buying any of the US-based 777 carriers until GJ uses JC's mould.

I sat in a tanker for five hours past the end of my shift waiting for N2749U to show up with the 49ers for the Super Bowl back in January. Gorgeous aircraft and a must-add to my collection.

Gemini's MD-11 is awesome!! But then they're the only ones with this mould anyway..lol!! However I wish they offered the long exhaust cone option on the GE fitted types. Never ever seen this done! Would be a nice little touch!

Check out Matt Cochran on youtube, he makes spotting videos with funny commentary over the footage. I guess he is quite big, but nothing compared to Sam Chui or others.
I believe he came up with the nickname, and I've used it ever since for when i see an all white aircraft. People around me always crack up when they hear it.

Here are those cones I'm referring to on the MD-11. I know no one will take note of this from Gemini (unlike NG) but worth mentioning anyway!

Yeah, I suppose so, but I do think it might help the manufacturers to have an idea of what some collectors might be looking for. I'm done with posting wish lists anyway. I just thought some collectors might agree with some of them and maybe Gemini will notice and possibly produce it. You have to admit, there are literally a TON of MD80's to be made...just for one example.

Us Aussies have waited far too long for a 1/400 Qantas 737-400! It's a massive hole in the Qantas fleet. Every manufacturer has seemed to have forgotten about it.

I'm pretty sure the 777 is still a cradle mould. They have done some nice detailing to it though.

For reference.

Yep, definitely the old cradle mould. You can tell by the engines and pylons as well. Shame too... I would have purchased this in a heartbeat had it been on the JC mould. But also, looks like the Alaska and Southwest 737s are also on the old mould. Other manufacturers are in 2020, but Gemini is stuck in early 2000s...

Ah I wasn’t 100% sure. I hate the angles that they use for their previews.

Why the change in the moulds. Top pic the new 737-900 and the bottom pic is the 737-900ER.

Is it? I can't tell from that angle. 787-9s are using the JCW. Not a fan of the Florida scheme, but would buy a Texas or Maryland version if they use the new mould.

Yeah the Southwest is definitely the newer JC Wings mould. Whether that is a good or bad thing is in the eye of the beholder. Neither mould is spectacular but neither is awful either.

I'll be publishing a video review of the 737-800 version of this mould soon.

I'll be publishing a video review of the 737-800 version of this mould soon.
Southwest Triple Crown One is on this mould.

Agree - Gemini's MD-11s, 727s, and 747-8s are their meat and potatoes - top of their class. Doug

I received my copy of the RAF Mildenhall KC-135R and I have to say GJ knocked this one out of the park! I usually don't fancy special liveries on military aircraft, but this one is subtle and I really like it. More KC-135s please, in 1/400 that is!

Just saw Waffle got the latest Phoenix models in and noticed that Phoenix also just released a Western Global MD-11F. OK, different reg# sure, but seriously, what is it with these patterns of the same aircraft being released at the same time by different manufacturers? It happens so often that it can't be a coincidence. Is it?

It’s especially odd when it’s a fairly obscure carrier like Western Global.

NG also released a Spirit A321 shortly before Gemini did. At least in both cases the manufacturers used different registrations.

Bummer, though. I keep hoping to see the Convair 580 reappear.
Quite agree! Cummon Gemini get that Convairliner mould going...still need these too!
Surely the market is saturated with Boeings and Airbuses by now? We need this unique mould that has no competition to give us something different.

What airline is that aircraft with the dark colored vertical stab with the U.S. flag (the one right behind the Continental Express)?

At first I thought it might be an E-4B, but those all appear to have the flag in the middle of the tail. I'm betting it's an ex-Pan Am 747. Hit Google Images with Pan Am 747 and the flag position matches.
