How is this JC Wings Mould compared to the Aeroclassics one? Didn’t see it on yesterday’s website unless I missed it.

Can anyone enlighten me as to why certain models get announced/released right at about the same time by 2 or more manufacturers? I'm not talking about something like the Boris Force One A330, which is a case of the real deal just being revealed.

I'm focused now on the RNZAF 757. NG just announced these, and now JC Wings announces it just a few days later? This aircraft has been around a good while and I would categorize it in the obscure category. Is it really coincidence that two companies announce the same obscure thing? Or is there some behind the scenes collaborative activity that generates these "coincidences"? Collaboration doesn't make sense either for two competing companies. I can't think of any other examples off the top of my head, but this bewildered feeling is familiar and has come to me several times in the past.

I'll be getting the NG versions for sure.

Chilean sounds interesting. I'm also glad to see them doing more 346's. Phoenix's version with gigantic cockpit Windows, needs replacing!!

So Panda transferred the 737s (that AeroClassics also used) to JC? I do remember Panda announcing they were ceasing production on those older 737s. Well this is good then. I do like those 737-300s. Can we expect to see the same generation -700 and -800 from JC too?

Well, from the photo of the AA 737-300, it looks like JC is using sensible size tires. The couple of 737-700s they released a few years ago used big tires. I hope they use the same tires AeroClassics used in their future -700 releases.

It is NOT the same mould. The JC Wings / Gemini Jets mould is the old old old mould that dates from 2004. The Panda 737-300 is vastly superior. It is clear from the image above that this is not the Panda mould.

Here are the two moulds together:

Darn! Thought we would be getting those Panda/AeroClassics 737s again. So those few 737-700s by JC listed in DIMA are the same ones used by GJ then. I thought the story was a bit weird with JC owning the 737s that Panda and AeroClassics used in the past.

Wouldn't you say the nose is more realistic on the JC/GJ version? The Panda one is not as pointy as the JC version, which on that point I believe represents the real deal better. Still like the Panda 737 though.

The angle of the Gemini down to the nose from the cockpit is too sloped and the nose is too pointy. I think the Panda 737 nose is better. The cockpit shape is why they are having such issues printing them correctly.

I've never liked the nose of the AC/Panda 733's - it may be mostly down to the cockpit printing but I've always thought it looked strange. But so does JC's as well.
