To correct my earlier post, it is the photographs of the x5 models that have been delayed not the release to the Retailers, NG Model have advised that the photographs of the models should now be available in the next 2 to 3 days, apologies for any confusion!

Is it me or are the cockpit windows on the 787s too low?

Is there an airplane somewhere under that United 757 'art'? In contrast, the ASL Belgium 757 is elegant. Doug

I think it may be a close call. I don't have a pic of the Man City plane but here is the Greenliner and it looks quite close using the L1 door as a reference point.

From the angle of these photos, it's hard for me to tell if the nose down angle issue on the 787s is fixed or not.

Anyone seen the UA 757 up for pre-order anywhere?

Harvey

Oh dear, that’s not good at all. Hopefully that can be sorted out. Just shows, no manufacturer is immune from QC problems. It also highlights what a total pain those extra details can be - as nice as they are - if those tiny antenna are missing or fall out, they are near enough impossible to fix, and leave nasty holes behind in the model. The more details you introduce at this scale, the broader the envelope becomes for problems occurring at the QC level. It’s food for thought.

Fingers crossed for all who have this on preorder. I was reading the comments section and I think a few people might’ve also had this issue.

Must be a glue shortage for Airbus planes, ordered 2 airbus A320's from Gemini, American: left wing was detached and the Northwest: right wing was detached.

Yup, those antenna's are a pain, I got the United California Art one with an antenna missing at the rear underneath the plane.

If this guy had paid a bit more attention instead of acting so pissed off, he might have noticed that the ''missing'' antenna was right there in the plastic cradle, it's even visible in the video.....

I’d be a bit grumpy as well in his defence. I can’t be the only one who has struggled to fit the tiny antennae back into its slot.

Why does he need seven of these ? I find it odd when people says things like "I hope you managed to get yours" then take seven for themselves. Disappointing yes, but is the suggestion these are being packaged already damaged or is Waffle or Fed Ex to blame too ?

Dear Lord. Someone has a flair for hyperbole...

Such an easy fix, but instead he decided to broadcast YouTube's dumbest tantrum-of-the-day.

There is no paint damage, and he has to glue a wing back in. What a harrowing ordeal. Thoughts & prayers...

I received my forbidden 757 today. Great looking model and thankful it got into my hands despite all of the drama. And also thankful it all came in one piece!

I agree the wing isn’t a massive issue and can be fixed easily however, personally the aerial would be a pain.

He’s pretty vocal when it comes to Gemini and the issues they’ve had with wings being detached so I guess you can only say it’s fair that he posted it.

That all seemed like a shipping issue to be honest. The outer box was very damaged... that never happened to me with NG.

I picked up my Man City, Etihad and Bamboo 787's today. Both very fine models. I am no expert on the cockpit positions but the Bamboo looks fine to me. The Man City is more difficult to tell given the dark livery but it maybe a smidge low but its very close to my eyes.

Very pleased to have both of these but would be interested in others opinions who have received their models as to whether or not the cockpit placement is where it should be...

How is the nose landing gear issue? Does the NG 787 still have a nose leaning low stance or did they fix that?

Ridiculous!!! Seriously? Seven? No wonder some models sell out quickly and the true collectors miss out on buying them! Probably buying so many. So they can re sell them!! Annoying if u ask me!

And NG has probably the most secure packaging out've most manufacturers! Probably a case of the lost ( come loose) aircraft parts is due to some tosser in the postal service decided to use the parcel as football or frisbee!!

I may not be the best person to answer that but having taken them out of the box they look like they stand level to me. I never really understood the issue and am quite happy with all my NG 787's and I have a few now...

I believe he uses them for his model airport displays, some of these collectors on Youtube have 30 AA 738's ect. It does seem quite annoying with all the hogging that goes on. Luckily for me these models are outside my collecting criteria.

Issue looks fixed, aircraft sits more level. I thought the issue was the main gears were slightly long but I guess that's all relative based on what weight and balance configuration NG based their mould on.

Thanks. Might consider future 787 releases then.
