Awesome! I'm sad they are gone now. I'll always remember the 'Soloviev Symphony' though! I think my last flight on one was quite a while ago. 2006 to be precise, ARH-LED in one of these:

My first flight in one was as a child back in 1978 IIRC. Most likely on one that looked like this:

There are others in between too, so, I'm very hopeful that Panda will now give me the possibility to add these 'flown-ons' to my 1:400 collection.

It was a big gap for a long time!

Cool Re: About TU-134

This was a late 1980's proposal for a refresh of the Aeroflot branding. It was approved and was scheduled to be rolled out through the early 90's. The fall of the Soviet Union meant that only a few aircraft wound up in these colours.

Note Eztoys are estimating a July 30 arrival. So still a little while.
Nevertheless, an image of an actual completed model and packaging is a good sign!

Quite agree and especially in the 1970s cheatline schemes for LOT, Malev, Balkan, CSA etc - all had lovely schemes before they all went 'Eurowhite'!

I'm very happy to be able to add some Tu-134s to my collection. I've ordered the Aeroflot and both Air Koryos.

I've been fortunate enough to fly on both Air Koryo Tu-134s and a number of late Russian operators in the last few years. I'd love to see some of the colourful later operators as well as all the classic liveries.

As far as I am aware, RA-65726, RA-65994 and RA-65995 are still active with
Kosmos. The latter 2 are in VIP configuration.

Some information in addition to the earlier Eztoys ETA of 30 July.
I got an email from my vendor yesterday (Monday 13th) that the model had just been posted to me and giving me the tracking number.
Photos have yet to appear on the vendor website, but I suspect it won't be long now.
The wait is almost over!

I got an email from my vendor yesterday (Monday 13th) that the model had just been posted to me and giving me the tracking number.
Photos have yet to appear on the vendor website, but I suspect it won't be long now.
The wait is almost over!

Yes, my order was also shipped today

Good to hear!

What is odd, is that despite the model being posted to me on Monday (and yes I've checked the tracking info, it actually is in transit - it should arrive by the 23rd, i.e. seven days) the vendor still has it as pre-order only.

Also, I can find no photos of the actual thing on his or any other store website except the Eztoys photo above.
Curiouser and curiouser.

Weird that panda hasn’t released the pics of it, anyways, it looks amazing! Excited to see the Air Koyro one.

I would have understood when you said the struts on the undercarriage are a little too long....

Got any more photos of the livery handy taken under different conditions?

I'm not saying you are wrong, but that image looks fairly desaturated, being taken on what looks like a fairly overcast day.
Even if you are right, I'm not about to turn my nose up at this offering because the blue is a bit off. I've seen worse in this hobby. A lot worse.
YMMV.
