Default Aeroflot TU-104 - New Release

Dear Collectors,

I am pleased to announce that Retro Models is now back with some good news.

Yes, finally an Aeroflot TU-104 is on its way.

I have managed to overcome several hurdles with the problems in China as well as other issues.

Hopefully the model will be released in July or August. This will be followed by other TU-104 releases soon afterwards and then hopefully a new mould with further models.

I have attached a copy of part of the artwork for the Aeroflot TU-104. I am reviewing the detailed artwork for this model and will finalise it in the next few days.

Now to some sad news. I lost my 2nd cousin's son, his wife and their three children in the PIA air crash in Karachi, and I have been very distraught lately.

I have posted these news on a separate thread. Here is the link to it:

https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...7-onboard.html

Take care.

Regards to all.

Kamran

Sincere condolences Kamran.

Not sure what else to say, obviously really pleased you have found the will to carry on with models and I look forward to seeing this.

Hope the new mould is a Tu114 or AN12. Panda seem to be doing the Tu134, or so they told us.

Very sorry to hear for your loss, Kamran.

I am very much looking forward to the first Aeroflot Ty-104! The CSA one is very nice and really stands out in the collection! So I'm very much looking forward to adding more 104s!

One request for improvement if at all possible, could you put smaller wheels on the future releases please? The CSA bird has a little bit of an off-road look so to speak. Not a deal breaker by any means, but more appropriately scaled wheels would be awesome.

Thank you for producing these!

I'm very sorry for your loss, Kamran.

I, too, look forward to an Aeroflot TU-104, and second Ty-114's request for smaller tires.

A truly sad time for you Kamran. Sort your family troubles out before you worry about the model. We can wait a little longer for it.

Thank you to everyone for their condolences. The PIA crash was due to pilot error, no doubt.
