Default NG32003 BA Tristar Disappointment.

Although it's not of major consequence with our current world issues. However, I would be interested if any other collectors have encountered this.
Having waited patiently since 2019 for two replacement BA Tristars, which famously had the non dotted “i” in their titles. I have just received a couple of fairly sub-standard models.
Both have had their under wing registrations manually removed with one having a deep scratch. Circular darker paint blemishes on the cabin roof, and il-fitted starboard wings with lots of glue seepage. Another bonus is the amount of dirty finger print marks all over the bottom fuselages too.
The retailer I obtained them from is very reliable, but I now can't be bothered sourcing more if they are all going to be below NG's best efforts.
Thanks.

I got all three Negus Tristars released by NG and none of those issues affect mine.

Great response from NG. That's customer care.

I think it is very difficult for manufacturers to guarantee that the odd bad individual model slips through, if indeed the damage happened before sending it out (I'm not implying the owner of the model did this BTW). But who knows how damage occurs.

Thanks to those who have responded to this post, especially NG themselves.
Strange that both models had near identical issues, suspicious?

What a shame - but hope NG can work something out for you. Apart from the missing "i's" the first time round, the replacements that I received were fine also.
