Air Zimbabwe 707 rainbow scheme would do nicely

Hi.

Hopefully something I can buy, old or new TF-, LN-, SE, or OY-regs.
It's been a while now, not been able to buy any AeroClassics.

Let's hope for the best and to Andrew's recovery!

Steinar

I'm pretty sure AK said these would only be N regs this month. An AirCal 737-200 would be sweet

I'm expecting more Northwest legacy DC-9s since we've had several Southern, Republic and Hughes Airwest ones of recent. MTM maybe??

Dunno but were I in hospital with suspected pneumonia, I doubt I'd be giving much of a damn about models getting released on time.

I'll 3rd that!!

727-100 would be great to see again.

Having just received my Ethiopian 707 at last, today, I would happily take another 707 too.

From what I heard from a retailer that is close with the guy who owns Aeroclassics, He felt he had used the mould as much as he felt he could. You may so "but he missed this" or "he missed that" but not every 727 will produce a good result.

He was planing his last 727-100 as the Air Canada CouriAir 727-100F but when the first planes started coming out it was clear the mould was contaminated so he scrapped the model and making a new mould wasn't worth it for just one more release

You realise the guy who owns Aeroclassics is our very own Andrew Klein right. Shandaken is correct the 727-100 may well be making a reappearance, which is why I did that 727-100 wishlist a few months back

https://www.yesterdaysairlines.com/m...7-100-wishlist

Andrew has been out of hospital a while now. The April Aeroclassics are delayed in shipping sadly.

Erm, could that hold true for the recent B737-300 wish list thread too I wonder...? If that wish list were to spawn a new B737-300 mould (that was then used extensively) that would be amazingly cool

It would be amazing to have Aeroclassics do the 727-100 again. I really hope this comes to fruition as there are so many great liveries to do. The blue gold TAA 727-100 comes to mind! Along with so many others!!

Bummer.

I was starting to think it's looking like April will be a lost month, for AC. Oh well. Maybe they'll be rolled over into earlier-than-usual May releases.

Moulds deteriorate after usage, they have to be retooled to keep them fresh. Sounds like this is happening.

Thanks Eric!!

The B.727-100 tooling was partially destroyed when we moved from Guangdong to Zhejiang province. More accurately, some Chinese ex-employees stole a few bits of tooling hoping I'd pay their ransom. Instead, they were told to go choke on them! Same applied to the DC-3 and Ty-154. They behave like their government; a bunch of thugs!!

Now this is a great idea. I’d grab one in a New York minute

Only 3 releases for April, up on the AC website now. A couple hybrid DC9's, and a Republic final livery DC9.

Kind of a dud month, IMO. Hopefully May has a better turnout.

Partial release list in 1/400 for May. Shipping delays from Asia. Stay tuned. There’s more coming.
