Default Vickers vanguard

Here is my latest review. BEA CARGO VICKERS VANGUARD. An outstanding model by AEROCLASSICS!

Such a iconic livery from the 60's. Lovely model.

Yes, liveries back in the days are a lot better than the modern ones. Today’s liveries are almost all the same not much exciting.

There was a cracking article about BEA's Vanguards in Airliner World a few months back, excellent read, like your review.

Unfortunately, when Aeroclassics can't find any pictures showing the wing markings, they 'guess'. Here is a typical case in point, as it is with their BEA Viscounts and Comets in this late '60s 'Speedjack' livery. There should be NO wing markings above the wings and only the white registration letters BELOW the port wing. The white' BEA' logo on the wings is fictitious and should be removed with a cotton bud and some acetone.

I’ve noticed that as well. Also with the colors as one of my previous reviews where they couldn’t find the actual color so they tried using a similar one.

It's all very well giving the praises for models in your video reviews, but if you notice these errors, you need to mention them or else the review is not a subjective opinion.

I always try and look for wing pictures of the airline that I’m reviewing but couldn’t find any. But thank you for bringing that up!
