Default Aeroclassics November 2019 Speculations

October is moving along....Turkey Month here in the US isn't far off.

What do we think Aeroclassics might have to offer for November?

Here's what I posted in the 400SH thread:

I'd like to see more 70's-80's-90's classics like we've seen the past couple of months. Given what we've just seen, some speculations:

--United Saul Bass large-titles 737-200
--United Battleship colors 737-200
--Southwest 727-200 in the brown-mustard 80's colors (not the green-mustard one already done).
--Republic 727-200 in Mary Tyler Moore colors. Maybe a DC-9 since we've just had a Republic hybrid.
--USAir 1979 white-top red colors 727-200.
--United DC-10 in blue-star, blue-titles 1970's colors

Others I'd like to see:

--Air Zimbabwe cheatline 767-200
--Piedmont 767-200 in hybrid USAir colors, but please print tail material straight.
--Pakistan International 80's livery DC-10
--Seaboard World DC-8-63

Jim

Wait.... is this speculation based off of 400SH hints?? Or is this more of just a wishlist thread??

I'm not on 400SH, so if hints were posted over there, would you CC em over here??

Both. I listed speculation and wishlist separately in my OP.

Andrew hasn't given a full Mata Hari report yet on SH. All we have so far for a hint is:

400SH OP: "With another month more then half way gone. Let’s look to November Aeroclassics. Although I know some may object, I’d like to see more Airbuses, such as the United A319 in the new colors, Spirit A319’s a maybe the American Stand up to cancer A321 or the 737max8. So Andrew what’s headed our way."

Andrew: "Possibly something on the wish list you just laid out!! Possibly!"

Well, like I said in one of the previous threads, Aeroclassics always seems to 'release in groups', so to speak. So my guess would be the logical evolutions of the recent releases:

- USair DC-9-30 (in the maroon colors)
- Western DC-10-10 (bare metal)
- Southwest 737-200
- Braniff II 737-200
- United 737-200 (any livery)

I feel there's probably some 767-200's in there somewhere, as well. Though, not sure at all what to expect for those - the releases have been quite diverse. Would love to see a limited re-release of the American, but who knows if that'll happen or not.

There's probably some Aeromoderns bound to pop-up, as well. None for me, but they seem to sell well so it only makes sense they keep being produced.

An Emery 727-200 be nice. An Emery 727-100 would be even better! A polished USAir triple red/rust would be great to go with the SMA. And PLEASE can we get a 732 and 733 in United Saul Bass LARGE titles! Also still holding out for a red and a blue striped polished Piedmont 767's.

Thanks for supporting me on that one brother. I'd love to see that ATA 727 in the Palm Tree Livery. That and the 25th Anniversary ATA 727 Livery.

I'm in for UAL B732s in Saul Bass and Battleship colors! If there are going to be B762s, a bit obscure, but hopefully an Aeromaritime B762.

Aeromoderns? I'm ready for some more Frontier A320s. I finally collected them all (A320s), still hunting for 3 of the already released A321s. A Barcelona livery Vueling A320 would be nice too! Too many possibilities, hopefully nothing some other manufacturer already released.

Let's have some international 727-200s and 737-200s, not just US domestics.
Royal Air Maroc and Air Algerie are top of my wants list for 727-200s.

Supposedly AC doesn't have 727-100 tooling anymore.

Too bad, I'd also love a DPOC 727. Or even a DPOC 707... that'd be a great release on AC tooling, compared to the God-awful GJ release.

Yes a Denver Ports of Call or Skyworld 707 would be great, also a Sun Country 727.

In case of a release of Lufthansa airliners I would wish for

- n/c A340-300 D-AIGT (or D-AIGX)
- n/c A319-100 D-AILC (or D-AILD)

- Special(?): A310 F-WWCI in Zintzmeyer & Lux experimental livery.

And "Classics" for Condor A310-300 (D-AIDA grey belly) or Condor DC-10-30 (in "eurowhite" livery)

thx and wbr,
Jan

I speculate a 767-200 Boeing house livery. Although when I say speculate, I really mean hope, as Aeroclassics don’t seem to do many manufacturer house releases. Am I right in saying the last house livery / prototype was 767 N102DA albeit in Delta colours with 767 on the tail?

That dashes my Aero Lloyd hopes.

I suspect one release is a Lufthansa plane in the new colour scheme (A330, A320neo, etc) and the other one may be a Lufthansa propliner, for example the Lockheed 1649 Starliner in the white nose scheme.

I'm still awaiting my Aeromexico 767 in delivery colors.

I can't imagine what? AFAIK you've made all the retro Lufthansa models? My cabinet is full and only missing the LH leased DC-8 that I missed out on when it was released?

How about a Lufthansa 707-430 D-ABOB (Hamburg) in the last colors?! I know D-ABOB was made in the delivery colors.

I agree with Ciderman...at least one might be an A330 (maybe even A319) in the new livery??

The Lockheed 1649 was a fantasy model featuring the 1049 livery without the Starliner logo and sporting once more the wrong base colour on the outer fins. So a proper Lufthansa 1649 hasn't been done yet. Herpa just released the experimental white nosed Starliner livery, which would look great in 1/400, too.

Now we're talking. A Boeing 737-200 in Lufthansa's Eurowhite colour scheme would make my day but this would be much too modern to please Adrian.

I was thinking that all liveries of the LH 727s have been made by Aeroclassics?? An all.white LH 737-200 would be great.

A Lufthansa Cargo 737-300 would be neat too.

You could also say the Lufthansa L.1049G was a fantasy model too, as the Lufthansa Super Connies didn't have the elongated radar nose. Afraid it was another case of a 'one size fits all' Super Connie for all airlines regardless of the radar nose. I definately would be all over another Starliner correctly done and with polished belly!

Absolutely, that's why I filed down the nose and repainted the outer fins.
