Default New Mould Review: Boeing 727-200

The 727-200 is one of my favourite aircraft types and features strongly in my collection. Nonetheless consensus over it in 1:400 is lacking. In the first of two parts I here take a look at the production of the type so far:

https://www.yesterdaysairlines.com/boeing-727-200.html

Part 2 will feature a detailed comparison of the moulds alongside each other to see who is the winner of best 722 in this scale. Look out for that part tomorrow.

I remember driving down to Seattle with my Parents in the 1970's. You can clearly see the 727/737 flight line from I-5 South. Ozark, PSA.... all brand new.

Nice write up. Thank you for taking the time for this article and photography. The 727 is my absolute favorite aircraft, and really am hoping that someone will come along and make a definitive mould of it. Many have asked NG, but I just don’t see it on their radar, but would love to be proved wrong. With that said, I prefer the Dragon Wings mould the best, but agree those gears are bad.... ToddCB

Yeah, I had the exact same reaction. Bit of a deceiving thread title.
