On the Gemini site the artwork for the Emirates 777-9X does display the wingtips in the folded configuration. However, please be aware that the model does not have this feature. We apologize for any confusion.
PLEASE NOTE: Per Boeing's requirements to all licensees, GeminiJets is forbidden to have any tooling reflecting folding wingtips. So do we have a fantasy tooling for this or what ?

The Delta MD88 is a nice release. After seeing how the recent Western and United classics turned out, I'll wait on making a pre-order until photos of the actual things come out. But, nice to see another month with another classic.
The Alaska 737-700 is also neat... didn't really expect that one, I'm sure the AS fans will be all over that.
I mean, I would get the AA 77W, but if they use the same old casting, I'm gonna pass! Old casting, old engines with no spinning fans, and are too small anyway.
Good to see an MD-88 and an RJ-85 being made. It just so happens that the two being made are not ones for which I am in the market. But I'll keep watching for others.

They can't possibly screw up the MD-80, can they?! At least going off of the recent AA MD-80 release.
Yeah that is one of the most obvious missing 1:400s left to be made. A great choice and hopefully an easy slamdunk for Gemini. I mean they already made the MD-90 and it is 99% the same

I'll definitely be getting the Delta MD-88. I've got a couple of the Jet-X Widget MD-88s, but the GJ mold is just a bit better. Would love to see an interim and wavy gravy MD-88, though I'm not holding my breath on those unless a manufacturer like NG comes out with an MD-80 mold.

The pictures are up on the Gemini Jets website. Not to happy with the printing of the windows on the Delta MD-88. And the Alaska 737 is on the cradle mount mould.

Interesting. The Aer Lingus RJ uses the old Jet-X mould and NOT the original Gemini mould. That is a shame as the Jet-X is the inferior of the two in my opinion. I guess the older mould is no longer available. See here for a comparison:

Mercifully, Gemini will be forced to use JC's 777-9X mould. I would definitely get the Phoenix Thai 773 Barge model over the Gemini; the PHX version at least doesnt have that horribly outdated cradle-fit 777 mould.

Thanks for that info. I was already leaning toward the Phoenix version but wanted to get others' thoughts.

I don't know. Some Phoenix 777 got some wierd cockpit window printing and some engines bent upwards under the wings.
Might have to invest in that Galaxy, I need one for my collection and it looks very nice.
Does anyone know a specific reason they weren't sold to civil cargo operators at any point?
Or was it simply a contract between USAF and Lockheed.

Favourite manufacturers - Aeroclassics ("just like a fine wine, they only get better with time"), El Aviador, also NG Models.
Looks like only the Emirates has aerials and the other two don't have any. What's going on here? GJ is reverting back to using older 737 moulds, and now going back to 777s with no aerials?

Its just the lighting, both have vhf antennas (aerials??). Go to gemini homepage and you will see much better crisper photos. The ones above are awful.

The photos I posted were taken by Gemini! Just take a look at their Instagram page...
They advertise the photos with the sentence "JUST LANDED"
