This livery is making copyright alarms go all over the place. I don't think Disney (owner of Star Wars - just googled) would allow their material to be made sadly. Last I heard Phoenix's Westjet 737 Disney had some units seized by US Customs... Someone would need a lot of connections if we want this made. It looks awesome. NG have said they wouldn't make some of these special liveries without a license.

It is the Resistance and First Order not the Rebel Alliance and Empire.

That turned out very nice. As far as diecast, I hope someone makes it.

Surprised they went as far as the seats on the interior. Must be some Disney cash in on that one.

Nice plane! It makes me laugh to see concern if a plane will be produced due to licensing! This was and has been done with previous Star Wars liveries and others and guess what...they eventually get done! I've also never understood some collectors that refuse to buy a release that isn't licensed!

...and those Disney planes someone above mentioned being seized by customs...I bet the planes were seized because someone thought they were neat and had to have them!

I love buying unlicensed models because when they get seized and become rare, the value goes up instantly. But hopefully these ones get made. The Pixar Disney planes have been all unlicensed as far as I know and many are so rare because the American customs keeps seizing them.

you are right! I guess I use the old names from when Star Wars was good!

I also enjoy the hunt for unlicensed models

The Star Wars ANA planes eventually were released by both JC and Phoenix, I have the complete Phoenix set.

I believe this one will be made too, probably under a white box label

As much as I want this model, I also want to see the Virgin 744 Disney one done preferably by JC or Gemini as the Phoenix mould is not good. Hopefully JC does it

CrownVic has commented this won’t be done by Gemini.

Phoenix did the Harry Potter one several years ago, unlicensed no doubt. I imagine they will do this one too.

Harry Potter was on their older mould which was when they actually had a decent mould.... I wouldn’t want to get the one on their newer mould.

Yeah, it wasn't half bad either.
