Starlux would be very nice, loving that airline already especially when they will receive their first A350..

And more GSE is always welcome..

Apparently so. About damn time too.
Now maybe we'll actually see useful numbers of 734 releases.

For D-AXXX
I would be very interested in any Germanwings (n/c LH Group aircraft)

e. g.
- A319-112 D-AKNG
- A319-132 D-AGWM

… it could also be a Eurowings

e. g.
- A319-112 D-ABGH
- A319-132 D-AGWO

but most probable a Lufthansa A319 n/c or in the Eurowhite 90s c/s.

Thank You ;-)

wbr,
Jan

Yeah, I was curious to see what it was going to be, as well. Maybe they're holding those cards a bit closer to the chest, until the formal announcement. After all, it would be almost anticlimactic if announced in the form of a registration riddle.

Definitely agree. Though, Panda seems to not to a whole lot of N-reg releases.... but, one can always hope.

And yes, I realize the irony in my comment, as one of the first releases is an N-reg. But, I gotta think it's probably DHL, which has worldwide appeal, not strictly just the US market.

Any idea when these will be announced? Hopefully the N A319 is a United in the 2019 Colors.

I am beginning to wonder how close the relationship between Panda and NG is. I received last months releases of the German A340s, and the tires being used now are identical to the NG tires. Printing seems similar between the two brands, both are releasing similar subjects (i.e. Jet2 A330). Are Panda using NG's factory? Even their style of releasing hints mirrors NG...

In any case they will need a better distribution network outside the PRC than they have currently.

At times I have thought about this too however I am pretty convinced they are quite separate and indeed Panda has shown some reaction to NG Models.

Now HYJLwings I know was made in the NG factory but the Panda A321 was a specific reaction to the HYJLwings version. I also think that the recent similar A330 releases for SQ and Jet2 show competition not co-operation.

Panda have only shown any interest in the forums since NG showed up and even now their comms with the community and their English is poor. They for example don't respond to messages or e-mails.

I am not sure really what Panda are doing at the moment. Their releases have become smaller in number and they have not been getting the most out of their newer moulds (like the 737-600). This 737-400 should be great (since presumably it is a version of their 737-300) however these first two releases on it are massively underwhelming.

They don't seem to have a clear idea of what Western collectors might want and have latched on to a couple of airlines (Lufthansa and Easyjet). Plus as has been mentioned they have a poor network for sales and are even a little hard to find in China of recent. Then they are making a lot of models for a specific Indonesian market. There doesn't appear much strategy behind it unlike at NG.

Anyway I hope that they use the 737-400 properly, start making more 737-300s and also go back to making Chinese narrowbodies like they used too. The Panda output this year has been samey and boring.

Yep, that B-5XXXX is Starlux, as it's the only A321neo to carry the Taiwanese reg now. I've seen post elsewhere saying that there will also be the test reg (D-AZAX) version.

Hoping for a Lufthansa n/c A319. As for the N-reg, maybe a U.S. Airways A319 in final colors (since they did the A320 a while back)? Unlikely, but I can always hope for a Frontier A319.

Let's see the answers!
