I was wondering if anyone has heard of any new releases from Panda models as they've gone quite quiet recently.
P.S. I'm not looking for argumentative answers or conflict. I'm simply asking if anyone has heard anything on possible new releases?
Less than six weeks ago they did announce these:
B737-300 easyJet G-EZYH Stop BA Stop Go
B737-300 easyJet G-EZYJ
B737-300 easyJet G-EZYA
A340-300 Germany-Air Force 1601
A340-300 Germany-Air Force 1602
A340-300 Airbus Industrie F-WWAI A350 Composite Panel Acoustic Demonstrator
A330-300 TAP CS-TOU ''Official'' authorized by TAP
B737-300 easyJet G-EZYH Stop BA Stop Go
B737-300 easyJet G-EZYJ
B737-300 easyJet G-EZYA
A340-300 Germany-Air Force 1601

A340-300 Airbus Industrie F-WWAI A350 Composite Panel Acoustic Demonstrator
A330-300 TAP CS-TOU ''Official'' authorized by TAP
I was aware of those but was wondering if there had been any news on future releases?
They have certainly seriously slowed down their releases both in terms of numbers and frequency.
In 2017 they released 119 models so about 10 a month
In 2018 they released just 68 but did at least release every month aside from Feb and November
In 2019 so far they have announced just 43 and they announced nothing in July or August (or October so far).
Plus they have lost access to the Y-20, ARJ21 and C919 moulds. Additionally they've stopped usage of the 737-800 mould and haven't made a series 600 since January.
All of this is despite the fact that HYJLwings seem to have vanished so there is a wide open space for A321s.

Shame to see HYJL suddenly blackout. It seems like panada aren't using their A321 mould much, perhaps time for another 321 mould? Ng seem to have gone silent of the DA.C quite recently too.

Why would they stop using the 737-800 tooling? Isn't this the one that AeroClassics used before, along with the 737-300 and 737-700? I remember the boxes those models came in had all three types printed on the box.

Yep. They said they had retired it with the FedEx release. I don't know why really. It wasn't as good as the NG mould but was better than the JC and Phoenix ones.

Maybe they are winding down their operation which is a shame but it might open up a door for other manufacturers like NG as they could possibly aquire their a320 moulds. We have seen some moulds float over to them in the past so it's certainly possible.

Why do we need another A321 mould?? Panda illegally cloned the AC mould, and at about that time, HYJL was sharing the same factory, so we know the origins of that.
The original AC mould is still being used, as are PH/JC/GJ etc, so what purpose would another one serve, except to further dilute an already over-saturated market?

I would say if Panda really is going away it's biggest problem is distribution. Their models are very tricky to find at a reasonable price here in the U.S. Second hand market is almost the only way to find them. Either that, learn mandarine and take your chances with overseas distributers and cross your fingers that you don't get ripped off.

Sprue Brothers Models LLC here in the US is also a good seller. I got my Tampa Cargo A330-200F from them and they have excellent customer service. My first Tampa Cargo came with the nose gear detached and broken and I sent them pictures and they got me a replacement right away.

Thank you for your attention! We have never stopped and recently developing official models for some airlines. Meanwhile, the new 738 mould has upgraded. Next, we‘ll release a Soviet narrow-body aircraft. Coming soon!

Good to hear. Nice to see panda developing more moulds. Will we see a new release soon?
With several variants, and at least 28-30 operators and some really nice schemes, (including several operators that many people collect like e DHL and S7) the pay-off for making a Tu-204 should be there. If JC and NG could justify the Beluga, this should be doable.

definitely, the Tu-204/214 has had a lot of operators in its time, theirs certainly a lot of government aircraft which go down quite well with collectors as the phoenix il-96 has sold out pretty much everywhere.
That being said, i would love to see an improved tu-154, yak42/40 and some soviet turboprops.

Re: Where are panda?
My guess is that it's something they ripped off from someone else; a Ty-154 or IL-18 or IL-62 are my 3 guesses.

I'd certainly buy more Tu154s and Il18s and IL62s.
If people who have made these moulds don't want to use them due to alleged poor sales or whatever, you can't really complain about companies who subsequently produce them.
There are still lots of obvious airlines who need to be done.

Favourite manufacturers - Aeroclassics ("just like a fine wine, they only get better with age"), also like El Aviador, and NG Models.

Ok, engines might be a valid point. But AC could ewasily sove this issue themselves. But as the Il-18 did not sell, i wouldn't expect a Panda or a AC solution for this.

yes, if ac fixes that issue I'd gladly buy one. Would love an air cess il18 but as you said, they don't sell
