Interesting that they are doing the Eastern 767...should be popular with some collectors. I wonder if the AA722 will be polished?

Some unusual releases there. An AA 727 is super unusual from JC, as is the Icelandair 737-400. Great choices.

Agreed, but in a repetitive world of diecast, these are quite welcome.

AA 727 definitely caught my attention. A JC 727-200 is worth considering? Pretty much gave up competing in AeroClassics AA 727-200 auctions on eBay.

I flew once in the B734 with the old livery and it was a take-off which I will never forget..

Like to see the B734 model rather in the other colors..

DiMA lists this as the first 727-200 JC will ever make. What 727-200 mould will JC use?

A non-fantasy 77X would have made sense. Being a fantasy fan in some cases i also would have like a Landor 77X - that would have kicked fu***ing a**! I really hop BA is having a special retro scheme in mind when the X is being introduced.

I have seen threads on JC in the past and they weren't pretty..

The AA 727 isn't that spectacular. They aren't even able to fill up the wing seam of the old GJ mould.

Nope! I don't like the look of that 727. No thanks! I guess it's back to competing for an AeroClassics one on the Bay.

Are you sure?! If you're not fond of the wing seam, the Aeroclassics version has an even larger, more unsightly wing seam than the GJ tooling. But, to each their own... personally I can't stand the AC variant of the 727. Which is unfortunate, it's one of my favorite airliners ever.

But, to each their own! Everyone has different bugaboos, things that annoy them and are deal-breakers.

I have the Dragon Wings version, which is very nice.

Wing seam doesn't bother me. Something about the overall appearance I don't care for with the JC version. Between the 2 photos you posted, it sure looks like the JC has a much pointier nose than the AeroClassics. I just like the look of the AeroClassics version for some reason.

Each to their own. I can't get past the JT9D they shoehorned in to #2 on the AC 727. But they are pretty much the only reliable game in town unless JC/GJ really chooses to extract digit.

Aviation Megastore has this for pre-order, I so does Wafflee. Not yet appearing on any UK outlets, but I don’t expect we will have to wait much longer.

I already own both an AC and a GJ American 727-200 in the 1968 livery. I'll pass on getting a second GJ-mould one. Even narrowbody models can be north of $40 total cost these days, and NG and AC are both making higher-priority models for me.

ON Waffles' site, there is a Boeing 787 "Dreams Take Flight" Colors. Flaps up and down versions.

I heard the Dream Take Flight Livery was cancelled due to licensing issues and Boeing ready to sue? I remember Phoenix's Disney Westjet 737 had more than a dozen models seized by American customs
