Default Suggestions for Aeroclassics 1/400 Fokker F.27

Seeing that Aeroclassics have brought their delightful Fokker F.27 Frienhship back into use, here are four that I consider would be good sellers. If anyone else has suggestions, please post them with reasons why you think they would be worth making?

Aer Lingus late '60s scheme - Aer Lingus always sells as the national airline of Ireland.

British Midland early scheme - a BMA F27 was made in a triple set in the late colours, but this would be a beauty!

Braathens - a very popular Norwegian airline. Needs to complement the AC Braathens F28 and B737 (if you can find one!)

Kenya Airways - colourful African airlnes sell well!

NLM...1980s scheme please

Sometimes the selection of colour schemes for 1/400 is odd. The 1960s and 1970s NLMs schemes were done by AC but not the more common 1980s livery.

I'd love a Loganair, more Aer Lingus too.

Good calls Al & Martin. Aeroclassics have made several KLM and NLM F27s but not in the '80s 'City Hopper' livery. Loganair would be very nice too.

Iberia is one of Andrew's favourite airlines, so how about an Iberia F27 in '70s and '80s colours?

For the AC FH-227 mould, how on earth could this no-brainer get overlooked?

Just for clarification: which moulds does AC have for the different versions of the Fokker 27?

Two moulds -
  1. F27 100/200 series but could pass as a 400 series
  2. Fairchild-Hiller FH-227

Thanks, Adrian. Would the FH-227 pass as a -500 series?

The difference in length between F27-500 and FH-227 in 1:400 scale would be less than 1 mm, so I think it would work for me.

Between the two moulds, I would be happy with any F27 variant to be made.
Would also like a R. Netherlands Air Force F.27M Troopship for military collectors.

Anything Australian would be most welcome. TAA (four liveries), Ansett (many variations), East West Airlines (at least 3 liveries), and MMA would be a great start.

Huh. I know the Delta of the 70's operated a wide and bizarre list of different aircraft types (L-100...) but I had no idea they ever had F-27's. You learn something new every day.
