Default 1/400 JC Wings Bombardier CS100 FTV2

Does anybody know what the current market value is for one of these? Currently, there are none on eBay and none show up in completed listings either. It was the most expensive “new” 1/400 model I ever purchased - especially considering it’s a narrow body airliner. It was sold out in preorders from Flight City in Vancouver and I haven’t seen one for sale since - although I haven’t really looked until recently. It doesn’t even have a manufacturer listed on the box, but it is a JC Wings release from 2015. Apparently it was a limited release of only 200.

I’m not sure why the photo posted sideways, but you get the idea.

I have heard that Bombardier bought the whole batch away for their own use, so it may be pretty rare on the market.

Lucky for me there was a person so kind to sell me his model.. Was also looking for it and I am very very happy to have it in my collection.. I paid around CAD 75,-- for the model including shipping from Canada to The Netherlands (Holland)

I am now the proud owner of FTV2 and FTV1 all in scale 1:400 and made by JCW..

DiMA has the model value of $34.77 USD. However I haven't seen one hit the market since it's release. Waffle got his hands on a few. I'd say pretty rare.

Unfortunately I wouldn't trust many of the values on there, they are made of far too small sample sizes. The output data is only as good as the data put in as the saying goes.

Does this have the same front landing gear as the Gemini releases?

Is it also that same god-awful nose section as the Geminis and JCWs?

Well they are the same mold so yes they are the same, but if you look at it for a while the nose section is not that bad.. It is somehow pointy but not very weird..

There is a photo in my initial post. The nose doesn’t look “god awful” to me.
