Default AV400 A350 Simply the best!!

Just bought or should I say treated myself to a Phillippines A350 from Aviation400 and all I can say is a MASSIVE WOW!!!
This model truly blew me away and I reckon it's probably one of the best detailed models I've laid my eyes on! Trust me on this guys,it's a masterpiece!
Even Mr Model Judge Supremo ( Richard Stretton) had a very good judgement and score for another AV400 A350 done for a Chinese carrier. In fact his score was right at the top!!

The anti collision lights are even translucent and look so life like. The fan blades are done so that you can see through the core of the engine and the same when you view it from the back. The cockpit windows are simply perfect. In fact I think everything is perfect. The only thing I think might be slightly out are the VHF antennae which again are very realistic but need to be a fraction smaller. Other than that, this is truly a winner! If AV400 put the same amazing detail into any other future moulds they venture into, they'll be up there with NG.

So I'm chuffed as a pig in **** with this model and will be keeping a close eye on future projects these guys come out with!

Yep - I was so glad they re-released a Cathay Pacific example because on the first version the green was more of a baby blue As long as AV400 gets the colors right, theirs is definitely far superior to the PHX and JCW efforts.

I got the Carbon Livery one and it's a superb model. Can't wait for the BA one to be released and replace my GJ one.

They just are what they are, but like JCWings. You know it'll turn up eventually even if it's a year down the line.

Tbh as much as I'd like to take some pics of this model,my iPad doesn't take the sharpest pics,so it won't give the detail I'm trying to portray here.

Maybe AV350 should be the best, but there is a big mistake above the nacelle engines: the grey zone is bad. Moreover, I think JCW A350 is a good model.

Hoping either JCW's/GJ or AV400 produce this. SAS A359. My A350's are the only models I plan to hang on to.

Glad to hear you're happy with your AV400. I have not yet pulled the trigger on their A350 which I've read so much about, but positive chatter like this pushes me closer! Good is good.

I've got 7 of them and will be reviewing the latest probably next week. AV have made some improvements to the mould over time.

I'm liking that SAS A359!! Will get one for sure......as long as it's an AV400 release.

Does anyone can share a comparison photo between JC or GJ or PH and AV400..??

I have 2 PH versions and wanting to get me the Virgin A350-1000 of AV400..
Like to upgrade my A350 collection because the plane is getting more and more beautiful every time I see it..

I did this review a year ago between the 3 moulds. Since AV400 have improved theirs and recent JC Wings have a new nose but the cockpit printing isn't great:

The Phoenix comes in last place nowadays

I'd snag it up right away. I can see this one being made over again several times with different registry numbers.

Is there a point of contact with AV400 to make livery suggestions? I'm hoping they do a 1/400 Malaysia Airlines Negaraku livery, as the other offerings were... no further comments.

As promised this week's review covers my latest AV400 A350 - in the China Southern scheme. Lovely model:

And I'm sure you will. Also, Finnair is one of my favorites despite it's simplicity I have the first three Finnair A350's, two JCW's and the GJ 'Marimekko' livery. Still on the fence about the Holiday one with the reindeer on the side. I guess I need to add it to stay up to date with them

Would be an absolute smashing new livery if they just subtly added in the Nordic flag colours in the new scheme somewhere! Disappointing to a point!

Btw, purchased this today on Ebay. My wife had to have it after seeing the Airbus video on the building of this particular aircraft. AV400 Sichuan Airlines A359 'Panda"

Off topic but I saw photos of their new 777-300ER mould. A good competition with the JCW mould. Looks promising but a few tweaks still needed. Makes me want to go back to 400 scale.

Yeah that's a good example although too much much happening on the tail. If they kept the tail as it is, which is kindve a standard to their previous, but added some of the various Nordic stripes alongside or even under the silver SAS like they did on their white livery ( which I loved!). It's a start anyway. They've gone completely away from what we associate the airline colours to be, like Lufti for example and at the same time, haven't put much effort into it either!
