Hopefully Virgin will have decided which of the new flying lady/fella icons will be on this for real. And presumably the BA one will include the Chatham Dockyard winglets, which were omitted from the original GJ release.

Oh confusion! I've just flown to Madrid on BA's G-XWBA (and back on an Iberia A346!) and have decided I will get a model of it thereby blowing my intention to stop collecting right out of the water, temporarily at least. So, what I want to know is which one to get. The GJ version is hard to come by and I believe it doesn't have the painted winglets so I'll give that one a miss. There is the WB release as mentioned by Adrian which is on the AV mould. There is also a Phoenix release that has been just announced. I've no idea what the best mould is. The Phoenix is a whole pound cheaper at ARD but even a tight old Yorkshire git like me is prepared to pay an extra quid for a better model.
I've ordered the WB/AV. Have I made the right decision?

Deciding whether to custom a couple of BA winglets decals for the Gemini or move it on and by the Phoenix, which I suspect one may be flaps down?

Yes you have for one big reason. The GJ version was released before the real thing had even flown and possibly even before it was painted,so I regard that as a fantasy model. The WB/AV model is based on the actual aircraft. However those Air Spotters prices are outrageous and ARD have this listed at £39.95 - £10 cheaper!
