Default NG Hawaiian L1011 cabin windows

Got my model today. I feel that the cabin windows are printed a tad too high if you compare it to where it intersects the cockpit window. Again, just my observation.

Default NG Hawaiian L1011 cabin windows

Sorry, I forgot it was the NG L1011. One wing had come off which thankfully did not scratch anything and will be placed back with some glue when I get home 🙂

The windows do look a tad high. The forward door looks high with relation to the cockpit windows, perhaps the stripes on the plane were not printed low enough which brought the entire door and window line up higher ? Overall the photos of the mould look very promising and can’t wait to receive mine and look them over. Will compare the BA example to see if those are a bit lower.... and possibly could be angles of the camera for the photos too.... ToddCB

I received all four of my NG L-1011's today. They are all a bit too - perfect! Well done NG!

Thanks for pointing it out. We will correct this problem in the following new products.

Are we sure it’s not the cockpit windows that are just a tad low?? Looking at the cabin windows versus the real thing, they appear correct. The cockpit windows could use possibly just a tiny bit higher, though.

I think, perhaps, making the cockpit windows ever so slightly larger would solve the problem. The gear on these are fantastic. Can't wait for the United and Delta -500's, gonna be an expensive next several months!

I placed a straight edge on both photos and they seem to line up. I think mt8667 is on to something if in fact the windows are a tad off.

I also agree with this solution. There is no issue with the height of the cabin window line as far as I’m concerned.
