Default Earning Their Wings: Eastern 757s

I find the history of Eastern to be extremely interesting, which is one of the reasons they feature in the blog so often. We've also been getting a lot of Eastern 757s recently so following on from my A300 post it makes sense to look into the history of the 757 at one of its launch customers:

Very nice article. I missed out on Eastern completely, but I did manage to fly on one of their former DC-9-51 with Avensa, was just like flying Eastern though, the only difference were the ditch cards said Avensa and the Eastern titles were painted out gray with Avensa titles stickered over on the fuselage and the plane was still in the wide hockey stick bare metal colors, truly one of my favorite color schemes...
